Chapter 1 - Prologue – The Child of Silence

Luneth was born from balance—five goddesses, five thrones, one world. But balance never lasts.

They say when light forgets its shape, shadow waits beneath it.

Long ago, the goddess Aetheris, patron of rebirth and destruction, descended in flame. To seal the underworld god Morvath, she tore her spirit from the heavens and chained him beneath the earth. Her sacrifice was the cost of peace. Her memory became myth. Her name was only whispered during eclipses.

But before she vanished, she gave a final prophecy:

"When silence takes the moon and the child of two worlds awakens, the thrones will tremble. And the world shall begin again."

Generations passed. Kings rose and kingdoms fell. The divine houses, born of the five goddesses, guarded the balance. They ruled with their blessings:

—Luceria, the light of truth.

—Zephyra, the whisper of change.

—Pyrian, the fire of will.

—Indoria, the depths of mercy.

—And Aetheria, the breath of endings and beginnings.

But the world has grown uneasy.

In the far west, the winds do not blow.

In the south, the oceans mourn the moon.

In the sacred capital of Lumivara, a celebration was held to honor the Solvaris Festival—when all five blessings would shine as one.

That night, the moon did not rise.

And neither did the Empress.

Elira of Aetheria vanished without a sound, her newborn daughter in her arms.

There were no screams.

No witnesses.

Only silence.

---

Some say it was betrayal. Others believe the prophecy has begun.

But in truth, a mother ran from the shadow that once devoured a god.

She ran to the Vale—where no maps reach, where time folds into itself.

There, beneath the ruins of her goddess's shrine, she placed her child into the world's oldest spell:

"Hide her, until light returns."

The baby's eyes shimmered like silver ash. Her breath was silent, as if the world dared not hear her name. And the forest listened.

It wrapped the child in stillness, erasing all trace of her from memory.

Even now, not a soul knows her fate. Not even the Emperor.

But the prophecy remembers.

And somewhere in Luneth, the shadow begins to move again.

The child of silence lives.

And the world shall begin again.
