Okay hi I'm Zara and my life just got turned upside down, so apparently I'm in a new world full of furries with no way home? But this looks like heaven, no can't be, nova's here, I have to find Leo and get back before something happens…
The next morning: 8:00
I wake up
"Man that's the best sleep I had in… forever"
I walked out to the kitchen to see… nova cooking breakfast?
"Morning weirdo, breakfast is almost ready"
I sat down at the table confused before nova put a plate of eggs and bacon in front of me
"There I know you humans like that and I also know you guys like this"
She put a cup of Milo in front of me, what the heck? Isn't she supposed to… bully me?
"Uh thanks I guess"
I said eating my food
Dang what happened to her?
Nova's pov:
No way that legend is true… right? If it is then I have to keep this idiot from accidentally killing herself
"So how do you like it?"
I said, gosh I can't believe I'm acting so… nice, yuck!
"It's good"
Zara said looking down at her food
Out of all the people, you chose me? Why universe why?
My pov:
Man these eggs are delicious
"So I was wondering if you could…"
Man I was awkward and it's a high possibility she would say no
Nova raised an eyebrow confused
"What is it?"
"If you… could show me around your world?"
Nova sighed
"Fine but stay close to me"
My eyes light up as nova got up putting our plates away
I was about to go get ready and tell her to wait but she waved her hand and I was a jacket, shorts and blue shoes, how did she know I like these?
"Come on we're leaving now"
Nova said walking towards the door
She stop and looked back to see me looking at her surprised
"Come on, I know you don't want to waste time"
Okay is she my bully or my friend?
A few hours later
We were walking around the kingdom minding our business before i saw a gnome stealing some food
I stopped as nova hasn't noticed yet
I glanced back at nova before looking at the gnome as it ran away. I narrowed my eyes before following the gnome into the woods
"Okay Luna stay close we don't want to draw attention-"
Nova turned around only to see me gone
"Luna? Human? Where did-"
She look at the woods and had a feeling that the gnomes had something to with this
Meanwhile
"Hello?"
I ran for what felt like hours before I ran into a village, all the buildings were as small as you'd expect for gnomes, all in trees and it looked like straight out of a fantasy book
"Woah"
I look around surprised before a gnome jumped on a branch in front of me causing me to stop in my tracks
I blink twice as I took in the gnomes appearance, it was wearing a robe and a crown clearly the king of this village
"Hello visitor"
He had a deep voice which actually fits his appearance
"Uh hello"
I said confused
"Welcome to my village, you don't seem to be from around here"
"I'm not"
"Well you're pretty I must say"
He said grabbing my hand and kissing it
Okay this dude clearly does not care about my age
I pulled my hand away and put it behind my back awkwardly
"Uh thank you"
"We need a queen just like you"
"Oh um, I'm a little too young to be a queen"
I said awkwardly
"Oh please there is no such thing about being to young unless of course you're under 10"
"I'm 15 so um, hey I think my friend is waiting for me"
I almost puked calling nova my friend
The king narrowed his eyes
"I'm sure your 'friend' can wait"
"Oh I can't wait any more minutes"
I looked behind to see nova standing there, clearly not happy about me sneaking off
The kings eyes widened
"Nova? I should've known this creature was yours"
"Okay we're not dating-"
I was cut off by nova which slightly annoyed me
"Of course she's mine, there's no way she's being your queen"
Okay nova you're really making it seem like we're dating and I know you still hate my guts
I was about to talk before the king cut me off
"Hey now, we don't know that yet, we still gotta do our challenge"
Challenge? What challenge
The gnomes jumped on me tying me up and put a tape over my mouth before putting me in a dress and onto the throne next to the king
Man I hate dresses
"Come on dude we don't have to do this every time you find a queen"
Nova crossed her arms
"Don't worry I'll make my queen very comfortable"
He said turning to me with a smirk
I roll my eyes, not at all impressed
"Okay we don't have much time for this"
Nova said before shapeshifting into a bird and flew over to me
Before the king could react nova picks me up and flies me away back to where she was and shapeshifted into herself catching me in her arms
"Hey no fair!"
The king sounded annoyed
Nova walked away leaving the king steaming with anger
I sure hope this doesn't come back and bite me in the back
A few minutes later
Still walking through the woods being carried by nova it was quite
I look up at nova as she had a stern expression
"I-I'm sorry for not staying near you"
She didn't answer
Man if nova wasn't there who knows what would've happened, im not ready to be a queen
It was quiet the rest of the walk back with I hate, im more of a… chatty person but clearly nova doesn't like talking, at least not to me
Nova's POV:
God how am I supposed to look after her if she can't even stay in one spot? Let alone not follow strangers into the forest
I sigh
Zara this world isn't the paradise you think it is, there's dangerous things here that not even I can protect you from
They didn't know but someone was watching them behind a tree, it was hard to make out who the person was. They turned around and walked away
Will Zara and nova find Leo, and get back to earth? Or will one of them die to save the others?
