What does it mean by "class" Angelo wondered as he selected the message. He assumed it was the type of magic but he couldn't be sure. As he the new screen appeared in front of him he was both excited and confused. It had all the normal magic styles but there was a few that he was very shocked by.
"Please select your class:
Pyromancer(Fire)
Aquamancer(Water)
Electromancer(Lightning)
Teramancer(Earth)
Geomancer(Crystals)
Aeromancer(Wind)
Chloromancer(Plants)
Cryomancer(Ice)
Necromancer(Undead)
Sanquinmancer(Blood)
Chronomancer(Time)
Healer(Life Magic)
Summoner(Weapons)
Summoner(Creatures)
Enhancer
More....."
"Quite the extensive list", he said to himself. He decided to not select more as there was already quite a bit of options to choose from.
All of them were interesting and he wished he could select them all. However, the two that stood out the most to him was the Shadow and Undead Magic. The Shadow Magic would let him utilize the darkness to fight and even travel through them. With the Undead Magic he could summon an army to fight for him.
"I really wish I could take both but I think that the Undead Magic is more interesting and there's no Necromancers, well, not that I know of", he said as he selected the "Necomancer" option.
"You have selected 'Necromancer'. This class will affect your stats. Once you have made a decision you cannot change to a different class."
'That's interesting', he thought. It would affect his stats. Well, they were already low as it is so it wouldn't be too bad. He hit the confirm button and immediately felt this rush of energy. Green lightning shot out of his fingers and hit the ground, causing a surge of green energy to spread across the ground.
"Your first Undead is rising."
A hand shot from the earth, followed by an arm and then the body. Finally, in front of him stood what looked to be a zombie. Rotted flesh, torn rag-like clothing, and a complete deadpan look in its steel colored eyes.
"Your first Undead has risen:
Undead Class: Zombie
'Slow but strong. Immune to cold and poison.'
Must consume flesh to Evolve."
"Woah, that's awesome", Angelo said, "I'll name you Z."
The system flashed again.
"New ability unlocked-Summon Undead.
You are currently at your summon limit. Level up in order to summon more."
"New Quest: Reach Level 10.
Reward: Undead Summon ability level up."
'So much at once', he thought to himself, 'Well, at least I have a goal.'
The rest of the day he spent testing Z's limits. The zombie was extremely strong but had virtually no speed. It's strength had to be at least a 15, higher than even his own strength.
Angelo decided to put his newest Stat Point in Intelligence. He was hoping that it would be like his video games where his Mana would go up when he upped his Intelligence Stat. He then checked his stats.

He then unsummoned the zombie and decided to head to the library and do some research on Necromancy.
Arriving at the library he waved hello to the librarian, "Hi, Mrs. Applegate."
"Well, I was wondering if you had forgotten about me", the woman behind the counter said with a smile.
The library was Angelo's second favorite place and that was mostly due to Mrs. Applegate. She was welcoming and very helpful.
"Never could do that", Angelo smiled back, "I had a question by the way, do you have any books on Necromancy magic?"
A panicked look crossed the woman's face and she immediately looked around before leaning in, "Where did you hear about that?"
"Uhh.. Well, I just figured that if there was Life Magic then there would be the opposite."
"There was, once. But it's forbidden to even talk about it. You're better off just forgetting it."
'Forbidden, hmmm', his interest was peaked.
"Well, thank you. I gotta head back home. Have a good day", Angelo walked outside and hopped back on his bike.
As soon as he got home he saw that his parents weren't home. They probably got called into work. All the better, to be honest. He didn't want to see the pittying looks on their faces. He knew they loved him but he knew they were disappointed that he had been born without magic, they weren't very good at hiding it.
Once inside, he set his bag down and decided to make some food. It had already been an eventful day and, having only eaten an apple, he was starving. He made himself a sandwich and headed to his room. Sitting at his desk, he opened his computer.
He knowledge of Necromancy being forbidden hadn't deterred him. If anything, it excited him. He decides that the only way to get the information he needed was by doing a little underground exploring.
Despite initially having no magic, he was very talented. One of Angelo's talents was his computer knowledge and hacking abilities. He immediately began typing away and eventually wound up on the Dark Web. He enabled his anti-virus, as you never knew what the site was hiding, and began to research.
After hours of research, he was ready to give up. Then, he found it. A book titled, "The Dark Truth Behind The History of Sorcerers". A book on why Necromancy was banned.
