When Asher said words that she didn't deserve to hear, Serena was stunned and her heart was pounding because her mind was filled with a scene of them actually doing it all night. She understood that Asher would be very reluctant to do it with her because Asher was actually very disgusted by the scars that still appeared on her stomach and back. Apart from that, Asher is still reluctant to kiss because the ability they suddenly got makes her uneasy every time she kisses.
"Serena, you change your clothes first!" Asher immediately ran up the stairs. "I'll clean up the guest room."
Serena narrowed her eyes. "You're telling me to change into those clothes?"
"Didn't you have time to buy a lot of those strange clothes?"
"Yes, but is this the right thing? You suddenly lied to your mother with that illogical reason."
