Reiji sat on the edge of the lodge's roof, golden eyes staring into the dense forest below. The events of earlier that night still played in his mind.

And he wasn't surprised.

And then—the forest erupted in flames.
The Attack Begins
The explosion rocked the entire camp.
A massive pillar of fire shot into the sky, illuminating the night in a violent glow.
The students woke up in panic, scrambling as the instructors rushed outside.
"What the hell?!" Bakugo yelled, eyes wide as he stared at the burning treetops.
Mandalay's voice boomed through the telepathic Quirk.
🚨 "Everyone, we're under attack! The League of Villains is here!" 🚨
The words sent a chill through the entire camp.
Reiji stood up, cracking his knuckles.
[Finally. Some real action.]
Then—he vanished.
Chaos in the Camp
The students scattered as villains poured out of the forest.
Deku, Todoroki, and Iida immediately took a defensive stance, while Bakugo grinned, his hands sparking with explosions.
Mandalay barked orders. "Everyone, group up! Defend the camp until backup arrives!"
But the villains were already upon them.
Reiji reappeared in the middle of the battlefield, golden flames flickering around his fists.
Then—he saw him.
A figure standing at the edge of the flames, arms crossed.
Dabi.
The blue-flamed villain grinned when he spotted Reiji.
"So we finally meet, huh?" Dabi smirked. "Kinda thought you'd be taller."
Reiji smirked back. "Kinda thought you'd be more intimidating."
Dabi chuckled. "Let's change that, shall we?"
Then—he attacked.
Reiji vs. Dabi – Fire Against Fire
BOOM!
A massive wave of blue fire erupted toward Reiji, scorching the ground.
But—
FWOOOM!
Reiji countered instantly, his golden Hellfire clashing against the blue flames.
The two fires swirled together, colliding in a violent storm.
Reiji grinned. "That all you got?"
Dabi smirked. "You haven't even seen the fun part yet."
Then—Dabi raised a hand, and his flames exploded outward, spreading through the forest.
Reiji's eyes narrowed.
[Tch. He's trying to burn everything down.]
He needed to end this fast.
Kota's Life in Danger
Meanwhile—far from the main battlefield.
Kota, who had been sleeping inside a hidden cave, was woken up by the sounds of battle.
He crawled outside, eyes widening at the sight of the burning forest.
Then—his body froze.
A figure stood a few feet away.
Tall. Towering. Covered in scars.
Muscular.
Kota's breath caught in his throat.
It was the man he feared the most.
The killer of his parents.
Muscular.
The villain grinned, his massive fists flexing. "Well, well. What do we have here?"
Kota stumbled backward.
No. No, no, no—
Muscular took a step forward.
"I've been waiting to have some fun."
Then—he lunged.
Reiji Moves
Reiji, still clashing with Dabi, felt it.
His instincts screamed.
Something was wrong.
And then—he heard Kota's scream.
His golden eyes widened.
[Damn it.]
Dabi, noticing the shift in his expression, smirked. "What's wrong? Getting distracted?"
Reiji didn't answer.
Instead—he moved.
Phantom Step activated, and he vanished in a burst of Hellfire.
Dabi's smirk faded slightly. "Huh. Guess he's got priorities."
Then—he chuckled.
"This just got interesting."
The Rescue
BOOM!
Reiji reappeared instantly, his body flashing into existence between Kota and Muscular.
Just in time.
Muscular's fist was already mid-swing, aiming to crush Kota.
"NO YOU DON'T."
FWOOOM!
Reiji's fist ignited, clashing against Muscular's attack with a violent shockwave.
The sheer force shattered the rocks around them, sending debris flying.
Kota stumbled back, his eyes wide.
Reiji, still standing firm, gritted his teeth.
[He's strong.]
Muscular grinned. "Oh? Now THIS is exciting!"
Then—he charged again.
Reiji exhaled slowly, golden flames flickering dangerously.
[Time to finish this.]
Reiji vs. Muscular – The Fight for Kota
Muscular moved like a monster.
Every step he took shook the ground, and when he swung—the air cracked from the force.
Reiji barely dodged the first punch, twisting mid-air before countering with a flaming strike to the ribs.

The impact was enough to shake Muscular, but it wasn't enough to drop him.
Instead—he laughed.
"That actually hurt!" Muscular grinned, eyes wild.
Then—he flexed.
His body bulged grotesquely, muscles expanding like armor.
"BUT NOT ENOUGH!"
He lunged again, fists swinging like wrecking balls.
Reiji gritted his teeth.
[Alright. Time to turn it up a notch.]
His flames shifted—intensifying.
Then—he vanished.
The Final Blow
Muscular swung wildly, his enhanced strength destroying the very ground beneath them.
But—
Reiji wasn't there.
He had already moved.
Phantom Step activated, making him appear behind Muscular in an instant.
Then—
He unleashed everything.
"Infernal Burst."
A massive explosion of Hellfire erupted from Reiji's fists, striking Muscular dead center in the spine.
Muscular's entire body jerked forward, his enhanced muscles searing under the sheer heat.
Then—BOOM!
The impact sent Muscular flying through three boulders, his body skidding across the dirt.
Smoke rose from his burned back.
He didn't get up.
Reiji exhaled slowly, flames still flickering around his body.
[Stay down, dumbass.]
Kota, still trembling, looked at Reiji in awe.
"You…" His voice was small. "You beat him."
Reiji smirked. "Obviously."
Then, he turned to Kota.
"Now," he said. "Let's get you back before more of these bastards show up."
Kota hesitated.
Then—slowly—he nodded.
For the first time—he actually trusted Reiji.
And as Reiji carried him back toward camp, he couldn't shake the feeling.
This wasn't over.
The real fight was still coming.
