Zara took an Uber home.
"One of these days I'll have to buy a Lamborghini and learn how to drive." She thought to herself as the Uber vehicle rounded a bend, driving intentionally slow so Zara could scan her surroundings for Bertha's car.
Naturally, Bertha had brought them both here with her own car, a custom Bentley SUV, so Zara handn't bothered using her driver for today.
Bertha must've dashed out to get something nearby, so she couldn't be too far. That was Zara's line of thought as her head turned every which way, skimming over random vehicles driving by.
Bertha's SUV was a luxury vehicle, so it would've stood out like a sore thumb.
But when Zara made rounds around the district and still hadn't seen any signs of her runaway friend, she had started to worry.
It was unlike Bertha to just disappear and stop answering her calls. Something was not right.
