Chapter 34 - Chapter 34: The Formation of the New Justice League

The old Watchtower felt… outdated. Not in design, but in philosophy. It had been built to watch Earth, not the infinite battleground beyond it. And after what I'd seen in the Bleed, Earth wasn't the center anymore it was just the spark.

I stood in front of the Council Chamber with Bruce, Clark, Diana, and J'onn sitting like battle-hardened generals. Zatanna stood behind me, a silent bulwark of encouragement.

"I'm not requesting to command," I started, voice firm. "I'm requesting to reconstruct. From scratch. This League was not built to meet cosmic extinction."

Bruce leaned in. "What are you suggesting? Another team? Another name?"

No. I'm suggesting we become what we were supposed to be. The original League was Earth's defense. But Earth is no longer the front line it's the last domino."

Clark's eyes narrowed. "You believe the old guard isn't enough."

"No. I know it's not."

That hit hard.

But nobody protested.

I gestured, and holograms burst forth new schematics, layered defenses, magical fortifications, Bleed gateways, and quantum surveillance.

"This isn't about power. It's about flexibility. We require technopaths, mystics, multiversal travelers. Heroes who can travel between worlds without tearing open the seams of reality."

Diana cocked her head. "You already have names in mind."

"Several," I conceded. "And the majority of them… aren't traditional."

I waved once more. A new list shimmered into sight:

- Zatanna Zatara, magical anchor and multiversal ward.

- Raven, darkness personified, bound to dimensional rifts.

- Mister Terrific, unparalleled intelligence and T-sphere synching across dimensions.

- Doctor Fate, mystical governor, newly enhanced by the Tower of Nabu.

- Jessica Cruz, selected by the Bleed Lantern a newly forged ring in cosmic entropy.

- Aztek, protector of the spiritual plane.

- Etrigan, begrudgingly bound, but required.

And at the heart, a fresh Watchtower not orbiting overhead, but drifting in the space between worlds. Undetectable to lesser-dimensional threats. Only reachable via harmonized frequencies, divine access points, or Omega recognition codes.

Clark nodded first. "You've really thought this out."

"Thinking isn't good enough anymore," I replied. "We must evolve. With each day that we delay, another world screams into the emptiness.

Bruce scowled. "And you expect us to sanction this. evolution?"

"No," I replied. "I expect you to participate in it."

There was an extended silence.

Then J'onn rose to his feet. "Earth's foes are no longer its own. I will aid."

Diana was close behind. "You have my sword."

Even Bruce didn't resist. "Just don't look for total cooperation."

"That's the plan," I grinned.

Because this was not a dictatorship. It was a response. A living response to a dying multiverse.

Within days, building the New Watchtower commenced. A hyperdimensional fortress forged by Kryptonian technology, Amazonian magic, and blueprints taken directly from my Omega Core. The thing breathed. It could rearrange itself to counterattack, build portals between realities, and cloak from godlike prying.

Each new recruit came with their own baggage and their own worth.

Raven's eyes flashed with secrets she couldn't tell. Destiny beheld visions that none of us could comprehend yet. Jessica's new ring whispered secrets to her in a tongue only I appeared to understand: the Code of Unmaking.

But we weren't terrified.

We were prepared.

The New Justice League wasn't created to defend Earth.

It was created to defend everything else.
