Daksha opened the bag and took out a pair of gold wristlet.
Viraaj widened his eyes as soon as he saw the wristlet. "It's...."
"Yes...it's our family wristlet..." She looked up straight in Viraaj's eyes "And it belongs to Ira. She is the one who deserve it. The strongest, bravest daughter of chakravarthi family deserve it. Ira is that daughter."
She took a deep breath before continuing "I didn't gave her anything. I wanted to give it to her on her wedding day but i was scared if Veera and others would create scene so i didn't mention it. But now, I want it to go to its rightful owner."
She put the wristlet in bundle bag and gave it to Viraaj. "Please your majesty, give it to Ira and tell her.....her mother love her and miss her."
Viraaj was silent. He took the bag from Daksha and stared at it. "What when others will find out that you gave it to Ira?" He asked concern.
Daksha smiled bitterly "I will take care of it. No need to worry. My daughter never got what she deserve, at least she can have this wristlet."
Knowing what Daksha meant to say, Viraaj nod in agreement. He put the bundle bag in his bag with other stuffs. "I will give it to her. And i will tell her that her mother love her so much and miss her. Don't worry. I will make sure she is happy there. I am sure she is living a happy life in Jwalana Kingdom with the people who love her. She deserves all the happiness in this world."
Next day, in early morning, Viraaj was ready to leave for Jwalana with so many gifts for Ira and her in-laws. One section of carriage was filled with gifts only.
Everyone was standing outside of the palace to see off Viraaj.
"Father, be careful on your way and come back soon." Dhishva said.
"Don't worry, i will be careful." Viraaj replied. "In my absence, you have to take care of the Kingdom. Send me a message if something happens. I will try to come back soon."
"Don't worry father, i will take care of everything. Leave it all to me and focus on your journey to Jwalana."
'Dhishva, you are undoubtedly a good son but unfortunately.....you are not a good father and that hurts me the most.' Viraaj thought as he looked at his son with a faint smile.
"I should leave now."
He went towards carriage and entered in it.
"Take care father." Dhishva said before closing the carriage door. He signalled the driver and the carriage started to move.
Viraaj was watching them from the carriage window and waving at them.
"I don't know why grandfather love to waste money on that useless Ira." Veera whispered to Veer who was standing next to her and both of them were waving at Viraaj.
"I don't know and i hate it too. She has left this house but grandfather can't forget her." Veer whispered back.
Even after taking so many gifts for Ira, Viraaj wasn't satisfied. Whenever he saw a shop on the way, he used to stop to buy more gifts for Ira. if he find a shop on the way where happiness is sold, then he would buy the entire shop for his granddaughter.
"Your majesty, should we stop somewhere to take a break?" Viraaj's personal knight asked.
"No need, i want to reach Jwalana as soon as possible. I wanted to see my granddaughter, so i left for Jwalana a day earlier than I planned to go. Keep moving. If anyone want to take break, be quick. We should reach Jwalana before night." Viraaj ordered. He can't wait to see Ira. Since he has started his journey, Ira's thoughts never left his mind. Her face is appearing in front of his eyes again and again, her voice is echoing in his ears like a sweet melody he can hear for rest of his life
He placed his hand on the carriage window, looking at the view outside the window, he thought 'My child, wait for a bit. Your grandfather is coming to give you a big surprise. I hope you are happy there.'
In Jwalana, Ira was having lunch with her in-laws. She was looking down at her plate and eating her food peacefully while others were gazing at her and each other, trying to hide their smiles. Everyone knew about Ira's grandfather coming to meet her as a surprise but they can't hide their excitement to see Ira's reaction.
Sensing someone's gaze on herself, Ira looked up. As soon as she looked up, everyone became normal and turned their gaze to their plates, pretending as if nothing happened.
Ira looked at them confused. Since this morning, everyone is acting wierd as if they are hiding something from her. Sometimes they stares at her and sometimes they avoid her.
'What's going on? Why everyone is behaving so wierd today?' Ira thought, she was about to turn her gaze again to her plate when she saw Neisha and Ashwant looking at her. As soon as their eyes met, both of them quickly looked down.
Ira can't take it anymore. She is feeling uncomfortable by everyone's behaviour so she finally decided to ask "Is everything ok?"
Everyone looked at her. Neisha and Ashwant looked at each other and gave 'We are caught' look.
"Yes, everything is fine." Abhiveera replied "Why did you asked this question all of a sudden?"
"Sorry if my behaviour seems presumptuous, but since this morning, everyone is behaving so different with me. Does something happened? Did i do something wrong?" Ira asked worriedly. She thought may be she did something wrong and that's why everyone is either ignoring her or glaring at her.
"No dear, you didn't do anything wrong. Why did you think that?" Avanya asked politely.
Ira looked down at table with a sad look "I don't know. I felt that everyone is angry and that's why you all are ignoring me and avoiding me."
All of them looked at each other, feeling guilty. Because of them, Ira is sad. She misunderstood that everyone is ignoring her and angry on her.
Raksheet held her hand on the table "No one is angry on you and no one is ignoring you." He reassured "Don't be sad. May be you misunderstood."
Ira slightly nod her head, still looking down.
"Ah, leave it. Sister, finish your food quickly. I have something to show you." Ahil tried to change the topic so that his sister-in-law's mood will change.
Ira turned her gaze towards Ahil "What is it?"
"I won't tell you, i will show it to you. So, finish your food quickly." He smiled brightly when he succeeded to distract Ira's mind.
After finishing their lunch, Ahil dragged Ira somewhere. He opened a big colorful door. He took her to a room full of different paintings hanging on wall and canvas.
As soon as Ira's eyes fell on the painting in the room, her eyes widened in wonder. She looked around the room, there were so many painting on the walls and canvas. The paintings were of nature, mountain that looks like a living miniature of mountains captured in a small paper on a canvas. There were some painting that looks familiar.
She walked towards the painting to take a closer look at them.
"It's...."
"It's our palace." Ahil spoke. He stood next to her "Jwalana palace."
"It looks so real. It's beautiful." Ira commented "Who is the painter of this painting?"
Ahil straighten his posture and fixed his collar proudly "The painter is right beside you, my lady." He said with a proud smile.
Ira quickly looked at her left and then right. She looked at Ahil from head to toe "Who? You?" She asked.
Ahil's smile dropped at her question. He felt she is doubting on his talent.
"Why? Don't i look like I can paint?" He asked disappointed.
Seeing his disappointed look, she immediately spoke "No no, i didn't meant that. You do look like you can paint but I didn't think you had time to paint. You will be the commander of Jwalana army, and you have so many responsibilities just how father and Raksheet have. Most of the time, you have to practice your fighting skills or help out father and your brother so it's hard for you to seek time to do anything else." She explained.
Ahil chuckled and nod, agreeing with Ira's answer "Yes, you are right. I can hardly find time to do painting. But whenever I paint, i feel so relaxed. Whenever I feel stressed or sad, i come here and paint something to release my stress. Painting is like a painkiller for me." He touched the painting of Jwalana palace as if he can feel its beauty.
"It took me six months to make this painting."
Ira quickly turned her head towards the painting. "What?! Six months? It's such a long time." She looked at the painting carefully, observing every detail of it.
Ahil nod. He put down his hand "Yes, it's a long time. But as you know, i can't seek time to paint so it took a long time to complete this painting. If i had enough time, i would have completed it earlier. The details and color combination is important to make it look real."
"Ah, you are so talented. I never thought that I would get a brother-in-law who can be an artist. Your future wife will be so lucky to have a strong and talented husband like you."
Ahil giggled, he tried to hide his face, feeling shy at her compliment.
"Are you blushing?" She teased him. She never saw Ahil blushing before. Who would have thought that a childish and naughty prince like Ahil know how to blush?
Ahil turned away, trying hard not to blush and cover his face to not show it to Ira.
