Adalyn couldn't sleep. She had been rolling about in bed the whole night. Unable to keep staying in bed anymore, she stood up and left her friends in the tent.
She took her phone and found herself opening Logan's messages. 'Why hasn't he texted me?' She was concerned.
'And why can't I sleep?!'
Yes, she was frustrated. She aimed to get a break from some things and enjoy nature by coming with her friends to camp but it wasn't turning out the way she wanted to.
Why on earth would she coincidentally meet her sister in a place like that? What was her sister looking for in Sandy Utah?!
All those questions were ringing in her head, seizing her sleep and making her uncomfortable.
However, she felt it was more than that, leading her out of the tent. Here she was letting herself think about Logan.
It bothered her when he said she should live her life and forget about him. He didn't look like he was joking back there.
