Logan grimaced after she left. 'I wish I knew she was here. I couldn't feel her presence at that moment because I lost some of my ability and I guess my senses were gone as well.'
Lope listened.
'I know she's upset,' he mentioned.
'Very upset,' Logan turned away so he could rest on the counter. He ran his fingers through his messy hair and sighed. 'I hate to upset her, Lope. I hate it when she glares at me with those cute hazel eyes of hers.'
Adalyn stormed into her room and dropped the car control on the bed. "I hate him!" She groaned. "Just tell me. What is so good about hiding it from me?!"
She sat on the edge of the bed and grabbed a pillow so she could scream in it. "Ahhhh," she shouted to her heart's content.
Her anger toward Carol and Logan could make her go insane. "I hate men! They are disgusting and cheap!"
