"Nice shot!"
After Ryōsuke scored, his teammates immediately gathered around to celebrate.
This time, he had completely outplayed Rin in their one-on-one battle. Defeating a monster of Rin's caliber instantly boosted the team's morale.
❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖
"I can't believe Kira is this strong..."
In the monitoring room, Anri watched in amazement, realizing that Ryōsuke's abilities far exceeded her expectations.
His terrifying speed and jumping ability had not only stopped Rin's certain goal but also led to defeating him in a one-on-one offensive play.
Initially, Anri had thought that while Ryōsuke was strong, he might be slightly weaker than Rin — after all, Rin was a one-in-a-thousand genius and the younger brother of world-class talent Sae Itoshi.
In the previous selection round, he had effortlessly defeated every combination of the most skilled players.
But now, after seeing them face off directly, Anri had to reject her previous assessment.
She realized she had greatly underestimated Ryōsuke — and more than that, he seemed to have grown even stronger.
"That's why I said this guy is the most terrifying one in Blue Lock, and it's not just his own strength. Little Anri, have you noticed? Everyone who plays with Kira — whether teammate or opponent — their abilities increase dramatically."
Jinpachi spoke slowly while leaning forward, eyes fixed on the screen.
"The real show is just beginning. Itoshi should be getting serious now. Let's see how far Kira can push him. His pride has taken a huge hit, but that will only bring out his true power."
❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖
"What a stylish dribble and goal. I never thought Itoshi would get beaten like that." Jūbē praised.
"This is bad, this is bad! They scored again — what should we do, what should we do?" Aoshi panicked.
Meguru walked over to Rin's side and reached out to help him up — but Rin swatted his hand away.
"Get lost." He stood up by himself, voice seething with anger.
"Time to get serious, isn't it?" Rather than being offended by his reaction, Meguru's face lit up with excitement.
Because the monster within him sensed that this guy was now truly serious.
"What an infuriating guy." Rin swept his hair back, and though his expression remained unchanged, his eyes blazed with fury.
Being dribbled past by Ryōsuke — being made to fall to the ground—had ignited a burning rage within him. Now he was determined to make his opponent pay.
"From now on, I'm going all out. Keep up with me." Rin's glance at his teammates carried the weight of an absolute command.
"Got it." Meguru grinned.
The Red Team launched another attack immediately, with Rin charging past midfield to confront Ryōsuke directly.
His eyes no longer held mere contempt for his adversary — they now burned with a hatred that promised complete destruction.
"I'll take back what I said before. You're not an ant — you're a pest that must be eliminated." Rin said, his voice ice-cold.
"Seems you still haven't learned your lesson." Ryōsuke replied with a smile.
Instead of continuing forward, Rin passed the ball to Aoshi, who was making a run down the side.
However, Rensuke was already there!
"I can get it! I should reach it first!" He sprinted toward where the ball would land—
But when the ball touched the ground, it suddenly bounced toward Aoshi's position!
Rin had applied spin with his technique, making the ball bounce directly to his teammate after landing.
This clever move not only gave Aoshi possession but also pulled Rensuke out of his defensive position!
Aoshi secured the ball beneath him, turning with his back to his marker and using his powerful physique as a shield.
"What is this guy's body made of?!" Rensuke was stunned by the physical contact.
Despite his own strength and years of rigorous training, he couldn't gain any advantage against this opponent.
Aoshi turned and immediately passed the ball back to Rin, who was making a high-speed run into enemy territory.
Rin didn't hold the ball long, quickly launching it in a high arc toward his target — Jūbē, who was cutting in.
'Is Itoshi actually sharing possession willingly?' Ikki wondered as he used his spatial awareness to analyze the situation.
He sensed Rin was planning something, though what exactly remained unclear.
'What is he trying to do?'
On the other side, Jūbē — who had penetrated deep into enemy territory — looked up at the soaring pass that ordinary players couldn't hope to receive.
But with his incredible jumping ability and extraordinary reach, he possessed unmatched aerial superiority!
"A high pass testing my abilities? Challenge accepted!"
Jūbē leaped like a human rocket, controlling the ball with his chest mid-air. As he landed, Seishirō appeared before him.
Rather than contest the high pass he knew he couldn't win, Seishirō had positioned himself defensively.
As Jūbē advanced, scanning his surroundings, a swift figure emerged beside him.
Rin Itoshi!
"How cunning, Itoshi. Appearing now leaves me no choice but to pass to you!" With no other options, Jūbē delivered the ball to his teammate.
The moment Rin received it, Ikki materialized in front of him.
"Just as I thought! All those passes were to set up your own attack — this was your plan!"
Ikki, also gifted with field-reading abilities, had decoded the tactics and moved to block Rin's path.
In this moment, he felt the gap between them had narrowed significantly — surely he could stop this attack!
But Ikki's heart sank as he realized his appearance hadn't surprised his adversary at all. It was as if Rin had expected him there.
"So you possess these eyes too — but do you think you can see what I see?" Rin's voice dripped with contempt, as if addressing an insect.
In that instant, he lifted his foot as if to shoot, forcing Ikki to lunge forward to block.
As his center of gravity shifted, Rin changed direction — it had been a fake shot, and he broke through the moment his marker lost balance!
Using his spatial awareness, he had read everyone's movement patterns. From Ikki's running route, he had deduced that his opponent also possessed field-reading abilities and would appear in this exact spot.
But Rin wasn't worried — this was exactly what he wanted, a one-on-one with this guy! His opponent couldn't possibly match him in physical ability or technique!
After easily getting past Ikki, he pressed forward — when suddenly, a figure appeared directly beside him.
Ryōsuke had already moved up to defend.
However... This was all within Rin's calculations!
"Your speed is impressive, but it only works once! Now I know exactly how fast you are — I've figured out your limits!" He shouted, passing the ball away just before Ryōsuke could reach him.
Whether it was Ikki or Ryōsuke, Rin had used his positioning and breakthrough to lure them both into pursuit.
This way, Meguru would be left completely open!
"You're two steps too slow, Kira!"
❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖
"Is everyone moving according to Itoshi's plan?" Anri watched in amazement.
From her view of the entire play, she could see clearly what Rin had orchestrated.
Whether teammates or opponents, everyone was moving according to his design! Testing limits, guiding battles — this was his strategy!
"Everyone is just Itoshi's puppet, even Kira's movements are within his calculations. This is puppet soccer at its finest!" Anri remarked.
This wasn't just spatial awareness; Rin possessed terrifying game intelligence.
"Even though Kira's individual skills are outstanding, he's still being led by the nose by Itoshi!"
"Rather than controlling puppets, it's more like he's put chains on everyone, treating them like livestock, forcing them to move." Jinpachi pushed up his glasses, "However... don't forget one thing — these chains can only bind livestock — monsters can break free with ease."
❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖❖
"You're two steps too slow, Kira!" Rin shouted, "Watch! This is the absolute difference in ability between us!"
"You're noisy." Before him, Ryōsuke responded calmly.
Only then did Rin notice there wasn't a trace of panic on his opponent's face. Even though his tactical trap had worked perfectly, Ryōsuke remained composed.
Ryōsuke understood Rin's strategy — if he defended, Meguru would be left open, but if he didn't, Rin could easily shoot after passing Ikki.
It was an impossible choice — either option would lead to a goal.
But for Ryōsuke, there was a third option.
"Just two steps? I'll catch up!"
❖ Total Concentration ➠ Thunder Breathing! ❖
At this moment, he adjusted his breathing, entering his Total Concentration Breathing state once again.
His Total Concentration Breathing had reached Level 3, letting him use it more freely than before. Though he couldn't maintain it for an entire match, he could now sustain it for half the time.
This was the perfect moment to unleash it! Only Level 3 Thunderclap and Flash under Total Concentration Breathing could reveal its true power!
Even in that fraction of a second, Rin sensed the change in Ryōsuke's aura.
Power gathered in Ryōsuke's legs. Blood surged through his vessels like roaring waves, his muscles becoming hard as bedrock!
He would use his maximum speed to catch Meguru from behind!
❖ First Form ➠ Thunderclap and Flash! ❖
In the next breath, he shot forward!
Meguru had just received Rin's pass when a terrifying sensation spread from behind him, piercing his bones like ice.
"He's... he's coming! He's coming!" The monster within him screamed, its voice trembling with fear.
Every cell in Meguru's body sent warning signals as he instinctively turned to look behind him, toward the source of this terrifying premonition.
Only one person could make the monster within him feel such fear: Ryōsuke Kira.
"You've... got to be kidding..." His voice trembled, and his body forgot how to move.
Ryōsuke, who had been beside Rin just moments ago, had materialized behind him almost instantaneously.
Was he even faster than the pass itself?!
To Meguru's eyes, Ryōsuke appeared like a demon risen from hell, wreathed in eternal flames as he charged forward.
Though he hesitated for barely half a second before attempting to shoot, it was already too late!
Ball stolen!
