The headmaster held his gaze with Adam, a small smirk on his face. During his entire introduction, this was the just emotion he showed.
'Fight for them?' Anger rose in Adam at the thought. They were only okay with him obtaining Set because they wanted to use him.
To them, he was nothing more than a soldier. A pawn to be used and discarded.
However, now wasn't the time to let anger consume him. If he showed too much hostility, he knew he was going to die.
Therefore, suppressing his rage, Adam offered the headmaster a smile in return as he nodded, saying, "Thanks."
With the matter settled, the headmaster quickly moved the introduction along.
"I am Fyrren Akiem, or as you will call me, Headmaster Akiem. Some of you are familiar faces, but for the rest of you who just joined, I want to make a few things clear."
