Outside the Uchiha Clan district, beside a massive illusion barrier…

The thunderous sound of detonating tags echoed through the village.
"With so many explosions, it looks like Root is making the final sweep…"

A dozen ANBU shadows stood in silence, glancing at one another with complicated expressions. Some sighed softly, others just stared into the fiery night.
"I'll go report to the Third Hokage."
One of the ANBU captains nodded to the others before vanishing into the night in a flash.
"We hold position."
Another ANBU captain gave the order with a blank expression. "Do not let a single Uchiha ninja—or even a civilian—escape."
"Yes, sir."
Konoha Hokage Office
"Still no word from the shadows, Hiruzen?"
One of Konoha's senior elders looked visibly anxious. "It's been hours. The Uchiha should've been wiped out by now."
"Exactly," Mito Homura added, rubbing his tired eyes. "Danzo guaranteed it would be over within five hours. But dawn is approaching, and still no word?"
"Wait."
Hiruzen Sarutobi exhaled slowly through his pipe. "The Uchiha are no ordinary clan. It's normal for this to take some time."
"Hmph."
Mito and Koharu exchanged glances but chose not to argue.
Bang!
Suddenly, the door burst open. A shadow ninja entered and dropped to one knee.
"Hokage-sama, we have an update."
"Speak."
Hiruzen's eyes lit up as he sat forward.
"There was a massive explosion in the Uchiha district. Most likely Root is carrying out the final sweep."
"Excellent!"
"Wonderful!"
Before Hiruzen could even respond, both elders stood up, their fatigue forgotten. They looked ecstatic.
"You may go."
Hiruzen waved off the shadow ninja and took a long puff from his pipe.
It was happening.
Soon, he would announce the extermination of the Uchiha to the public. He would condemn Uchiha Itachi as the traitor and scapegoat, then revoke Shimura Danzo's control over Root to pacify the other clans.
Outside Konoha – Underground Cavern
Whoosh—crack!
A swirling distortion in space opened, and Uchiha Obito tumbled out, crashing to the ground.
"Damn it…"
His masked face twisted with rage. "How did it come to this?"
He had personally taken part in the Uchiha extermination… and still nearly died.
And worst of all?
He had to use Izanagi, sacrificing his transplanted Sharingan just to escape.
His eye was permanently blind now.
"That bastard Uchiha Yuta… he was hiding too deep."
Black Zetsu and White Zetsu emerged from the shadows, fused together with grim expressions.
"The balance in Konoha… has shifted," Black Zetsu muttered coldly.
Obito's fists clenched tightly. "He humiliated me. Next time, I'll obtain the ultimate power. I'll crush everything and create a true world of peace."
"Speaking of which," White Zetsu suddenly asked, "what about Uchiha Itachi? What did you do with him?"
"I transplanted cells from the First Hokage into him," Obito replied flatly.
White Zetsu nodded.
Black Zetsu remained silent.
Uchiha Yuta's sudden burst of power had completely thrown his plans into chaos.
Konoha – Uchiha District
The detonators had stopped.
The ruins of the clan's district were still smoldering, yet in the battered square, dozens of Uchiha had gathered again—faces dirty, clothes torn, but spirits blazing.
"Uchiha-sama! We're lucky to have you!"
"Please teach me your taijutsu, Lord Yuta!"
"If not for you, our clan would've been exterminated tonight!"
"Konoha's higher-ups… we can't forgive them!"
Uchiha Yuta stood calmly in the center of the square, surrounded by survivors of his clan.
"The higher-ups of Konoha wanted to wipe us out," he said quietly. "Are you willing to accept that?"
"No!!"
"Never!"
"We fought for Konoha! How dare they betray us like this?"
"They approved Danzo's attack! We have no choice but to resist!"
"Let's burn it all down if we have to!"
Anger and helplessness burned in their eyes—some were on the verge of tears, others clenching their fists with fury.
"Enough."
Uchiha Yuta raised his hand.
Buzz—
A wave of Conqueror's Haki swept across the square.
The Uchiha ninjas trembled unconsciously and instantly fell silent.
"I didn't want to go this far…"
Yuta's voice was calm but cold. "But Konoha's leaders made their choice."
"So now, I'll make mine."
"While it's still dark—we're going to kill every single member of the Sarutobi Clan."
Dead silence.
Not even the wind dared to move.
Even Uchiha Fugaku, the clan head, trembled.
Yuta's words weren't a threat.
They were a declaration.
"Are you… afraid?" Yuta asked, scanning the silent crowd.
"Afraid? Never!!"
"We follow you, Uchiha-sama!"
"Why can they try to kill us, but we can't kill them?!"
"They'll pay for what they did!"
"Tonight, the Sarutobi Clan ends!"
The Uchiha had already been pushed to the edge.
Now they were ready to bite back.
Midnight – Sarutobi Clan District
A prestigious and long-standing clan in Konoha—home of the Third Hokage, and once considered untouchable.
Not anymore.

Over two dozen Uchiha elite appeared in the shadows of the Sarutobi compound. The guards fell silently, one after another.
Uchiha Yuta raised his hand.
Buzz—
Conqueror's Haki exploded outward, blanketing the entire Sarutobi district.
Most of the clan were asleep and didn't even have time to wake before falling unconscious.
Even Sarutobi jōnin staggered, their minds spinning.
Only a few elite managed to stay conscious for mere seconds—before collapsing like the rest.
"Now. Kill them all."
Yuta vanished, leading the charge.
The Uchiha elites followed, cutting through the defenseless Sarutobi like a blade through water.
Dawn
As the first light crept over the horizon, a team of ANBU removed the barrier over the Uchiha district.
They cautiously entered—only to find craters, ash, and the scent of blood.
But strangely… not a single body.
Confused, they turned to Root for answers.
Only to discover—
Shimura Danzo and the Root operatives had vanished completely.
Disappeared without a trace.
