Lucci turned his head at the change in atmosphere and froze when he saw what had happened behind him.
In the blink of an eye, two of CP9's elite had been subdued.
Just as Rob Lucci was about to retaliate
'Whoosh!' A flash of blue lightning streaked through the air with a shrill crackle. Enel suddenly appeared in front of Lucci, pressing his right hand, surging with 20 million volts of electricity, to Lucci's throat, his expression steeped in contempt. "You're no different make a move, and you're dead."
"Damn it..."
Staring at Enel, Lucci's pupils narrowed not from fear, but from pure astonishment.
He had never lost before.
Even the former King of Alabasta, Nefertari Cobra, or the powerful leaders of other kingdoms he had always succeeded in missions under CP9's shadow. To him, not even the Shichibukai commanded fear. But now, he was witnessing the true power of one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea—powerful enough to render three CP9 agents helpless.
He glanced at Rin, who remained calmly at the table, picking at side dishes like nothing had happened. Rin hadn't lifted a finger, yet his crew alone had completely overpowered them.
The implications of that were terrifying.

Rin didn't concern himself with what thoughts were stirring in Lucci's mind nor did he care.
Looking at Lucci, Rin raised his eyebrows and sneered. "Anything else you want to say?"
Lucci fell silent.
Rin snorted disdainfully and ordered, "Then get out."
As soon as the words left his mouth, Casa released his grip.
Lucci rubbed his neck and cast a final, long look at Rin. He didn't say a word as he turned and walked out. He understood that staying any longer would only bring shame.
Kaku and Bruno exchanged glances, then quickly followed Lucci out the door.
As the three of them left and the door shut behind them
Casa plopped down into his seat and looked at Rin. "Captain, what kind of organization is this CP9? Their strength seems pretty solid."
"They should be," Rin replied casually. "They're an elite black-ops group under Cipher Pol, directly answering to the World Government. You think they'd be weak?"
But Rin was confident if Lucci had even a shred of intelligence, he wouldn't bother them again.
The group resumed their meal, unconcerned.
Time passed quickly.
Three days went by in a flash.
On the third day, the ship's renovation was finally complete.
Every system on board had been upgraded the hull strengthened, the propulsion adjusted, and even weaponry integrated. Iceburg had truly gone all out. After all, Rin had provided unlimited funds, and the craftsmen of Galley-La Company were the best in Water 7.
When all was finished, Rin, Casa, Enel, and Artoria left the City of Water without fanfare.
And Iceburg, watching their ship sail off into the horizon, finally released a long-held sigh of relief.

Back at sea again, Rin lounged lazily on the newly varnished deck and called over to Casa. "Hey Casa, see if there's an uninhabited island nearby. Let's take a break and relax for a couple days."
"I'll check."
Casa pulled out the nautical map and spread it across the table.
After scanning for a few minutes, Casa looked up. "Got one, Captain. About a hundred miles off our three o'clock heading—completely uninhabited."
"Perfect. Full speed ahead."
"Roger!"
The upgraded ship surged forward. With its overhauled engines and enhanced hull, they made it to the island in just half a day.
Once they arrived, they dropped anchor in the shallow waters and disembarked onto a clean, sunlit beach.
They brought out folding chairs, parasols, and even a full barbecue kit.
As soon as the setup was complete, the vacation officially began.
But while the others relaxed, Rin laid back with his hands behind his head and fell into deep thought.
He slowed his breathing—
And began testing his control over the Cosmic-Cosmic Fruit.
Ever since defeating Crocodile in Alabasta, Rin's mastery of the Cosmic Fruit had grown immensely.
He now had fine control over forces like gravity and zero-gravity.
"Let's test gravity first…"
He opened one eye and glanced at his three companions—Artoria, Enel, and Casa—all sunbathing peacefully. Rin grinned mischievously and activated his ability.
With a thought
Their bodies slowly began to float upward, including their chairs.
None of them noticed at first. Casa was the first to stir.
He reached out, trying to grab his drink—but his hand caught nothing but air. Frowning, he turned to his side—
And froze.
"We're… floating?! What the hell!? Captain, what's going on!?"
Artoria and Enel also opened their eyes.

They quickly noticed the situation too.
Rin just chuckled. "Relax, I'm testing my Devil Fruit abilities. Just float a little."
After a few seconds, he gently returned them to the ground, and they resumed their sunbathing.
Rin, however, moved toward the shore to continue experimenting.
Standing on the wet sand, Rin focused his ability.
"Ten times gravity."
Boom!
A crushing pressure slammed down on him. His body felt like it had been filled with molten lead. The sand beneath his feet compacted instantly, sinking more than ten centimeters deep.
But Rin could sense something more
This wasn't his limit.
He could push further. Much further.
But his body wasn't ready yet. He dispelled the pressure before it caused damage and turned toward a clear patch of beach nearby.
"Twenty times gravity."
BOOM.
The beach exploded downward. A large portion of sand caved in like a meteor had landed. The ground pressed in under invisible force, as if a mountain had suddenly appeared there.
