Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

Ishnofel was immersed in the gloom, the night wrapping around him like a cloak. The shadows danced among the trees of the park, whispering dark secrets as the icy wind caressed his skin. The moon shone high above, illuminating his path as he approached his target.

His thoughts were tangled in confusion and hatred. He had been hunting God's chosen ones: Kutichay, Camila, Rosenda, and Daniel. His gaze focused especially on Kutichay, whose presence both fascinated and terrified him. There was something in those dark eyes, that smile, that hair, that echoed from his own past.

One night, Ishnofel became a shadow, slipping through Kutichay's bedroom door. The atmosphere was tense, steeped in memories. He opened drawers with trembling hands, searching for some clue, until his eyes landed on a worn-out photo of his ex-wife. His heart sank as he recognized her, a painful memory he could never forget."Impossible. This can't be… it's… my son." The rage bubbled within him like a volcano on the verge of erupting.

Meanwhile, in the park, Kutichay, Camila, Rosenda, and Daniel were enjoying the fresh air, though the strange absence of people made them uneasy. The sun shone intensely, but a shadow of foreboding hovered over them."This is weird, don't you think?" Daniel asked, his voice full of worry."I don't know, Daniel. I have a bad feeling," Kutichay replied, looking around, tension building in his chest.

Suddenly, the atmosphere changed. A dark shadow emerged from the woods, and Ishnofel appeared with a sinister smile, like a predator stalking its prey."You just had to speak, didn't you?" Rosenda said, her frustration obvious.

Ishnofel lunged at them. Kutichay moved instantly, dodging an attack with agility. Camila and Rosenda followed, while Daniel tried to hold the demon back. But Ishnofel was a whirlwind of strength and darkness. He stopped Daniel's fist and, with a brutal movement, knocked him down, leaving him writhing on the ground in pain."Camila! Go get our swords!" Kutichay shouted, adrenaline coursing through his veins as he helped Daniel to his feet.

Camila shot off toward Kutichay's house, her heart pounding in her ears. When she arrived, she pounded on the door."What's wrong, Camila?" Liz asked, her face pale with worry."A demon attacked us. We need our angelic swords," Camila answered, anguish thick in her voice.

Liz and Camila hurried to Kutichay's room. Liz opened an old box that contained her sword, and as she gripped it, a celestial light illuminated the room, revealing angelic armor that glowed in shades of gray and pink.

Back in the park, the unleashed fight was fierce. Kutichay tried to defend himself with a branch, while Ishnofel moved with surprising agility, disarming Kutichay in a single move. The leaves crunched beneath their feet as the combat intensified."You're surprisingly skilled," Ishnofel commented, his voice dripping with mockery.

Kutichay gritted his teeth and kept attacking, but the demon-human, sword in hand, sliced the branch in two and shoved him to the ground. With a quick move, Kutichay got back up and managed to punch Ishnofel in the stomach, making him drop his sword."Nice move, kid," Ishnofel laughed, enjoying the challenge.

The air filled with sparks as their swords clashed, echoing like thunder in the sky. Kutichay moved with determination, but Ishnofel was a master of combat, unleashing a series of attacks that forced Kutichay to retreat."Kutichay, do you want to know what happened to your parents?" Ishnofel looked at him intently, his voice a venomous whisper."They already told me enough. They told me you killed them," Kutichay replied, fury burning inside him."No. I am your father."

The revelation fell like a lightning bolt, leaving Kutichay paralyzed.

At that moment, a portal opened, and Liz appeared with Camila. Ishnofel's face darkened when he saw Liz."Aunt, what are you doing here?" Kutichay tried to get up, but the pain kept him on the ground.

Liz, with unbreakable determination, ordered Camila to get Rosenda and Daniel, unconscious on the ground, and Kutichay out of there."No, I can't leave you. We've always been together," Kutichay struggled against his tears."Take care of yourself, my dear…" Liz gave him a look full of love as the portal closed behind them.

"I thought I knew you, but I was wrong. My best friend would never be so vile," Liz said, sadness in her eyes as she faced Ishnofel."Sumaq was weak. I killed him," Ishnofel answered, cold as ice."Then I will avenge his death." Liz, sword in hand, took a defensive stance.

The air grew heavy with tension. Ishnofel lunged at Liz with a ferocity that shook the battlefield, his dark sword glowing with a threatening aura. Liz, agile as a cat, dodged the first blow, their swords clashing with a crash that echoed through the air.

The fight was a deadly dance. Ishnofel unleashed a series of savage attacks, his fury palpable in every movement. Liz, calm and determined, stood her ground, analyzing every opportunity as the wind howled around them.

With a quick twist, Liz threw a rock at Ishnofel, who carelessly destroyed it, but his arrogance cost him dearly. In a moment of distraction, Ishnofel launched sharp stakes at her. Liz, with surprising precision, cut each one of them, adrenaline coursing through her veins.

In an instant of brilliant clarity, she managed to deflect his sword and cut a piece of Ishnofel's helmet, revealing a glimpse of his dark interior."… Liz…" a voice resonated, tangled with demonic echoes.

She turned and met a green eye, full of confusion and pain."Sumaq, I won't abandon you, not this time," Liz said, her voice full of determination."Then you will die," Ishnofel, now torn between his demonic nature and his memories, charged again.

The attacks were a storm, and Liz, with fluid movements, dodged and blocked masterfully. However, in an unexpected twist, Ishnofel managed to plunge his sword into Liz's stomach.

Pain shot through her, but in a desperate act, Liz hugged Ishnofel with all her strength, joining their destinies in a single moment of vulnerability."I don't want to fight…" she whispered, feeling the warmth of the demon through his cold armor.

Ishnofel, surprised by the gesture, hesitated. In that brief moment, the battle turned into something more: a fight not only of swords, but of souls."There is goodness in you, Sumaq. You are not a demon. You are still human," Liz whispered in his ear.

Silence took hold of the place. Finally, Ishnofel left, abandoning the battlefield as the kids came running back.

Kutichay, seeing his aunt wounded, ran toward her."Aunt… let me take you to the hospital. You'll recover…" he said, trying to hold back his tears."My dear, my time has come. You gave me a happy life. I love you, my boy," Liz smiled with love, her voice a soft melody amid the chaos."Don't go, please. You promised we'd stay together," Kutichay cried, holding her tightly."One more thing before I leave: the demon-human is your father, Sumaq." And with those words, she closed her eyes, leaving Kutichay in shock.

The tears began to flow as pain and betrayal overwhelmed him, and he was embraced by Camila, Rosenda, and Daniel, united in their shared grief.
