I spared the sky a quick glance. The sky was covered with grey clouds that seemed to darken as the seconds rolled by.
My eyes looked over the marching men who seemed to me like they were taking their time to walk. I was fast losing my patience, I just wanted this ridiculous war to end as soon as possible.
I was tired, very tired of everything; a king without his queen, a king that needed to make sure everything was under his control, a king that has to make sure no harm comes to his people. That's the kind of king life I was living, and it was beginning to kill me slowly.
"Fancy seeing you wear the king robe and crown." Alpha Dovan said when he was close to where I and my men stood waiting for them. I didn't miss the sarcasm in his words but I ignored him.
"Why do you want to fight me?" I asked, my voice low and my words calculated. I had no intention of talking much.
