The country is built on a high mountain covered with jungles. The buildings are maintained in a blue style. For centuries, there has been a strict prohibition against men on the island. Any man who sets foot on the island faces death.
Although Karl wouldn't dare say he was the first man to set foot on Amazon lily, he can certainly claim to be the first man officially invited here.
As for Ian and Nelson, they were less fortunate. They could only watch as Karl departed and continued guarding the warship.
