Chapter 142 - Chapter 141: Something Interesting

Ryuji had always known how to separate work from pleasure. When it came to someone like Toph, he approached things almost like charity—his actions barely scratched the surface, more symbolic than indulgent.

He never had any intention of going all out.

But if it was a matter of pure technique or stamina, like a competition of endurance or skill, then of course he'd push himself as far as he could. He even activated techniques like Blood Qi Art and Life Return without hesitation.

"Let's be real—most men can only go once or twice, adding up to maybe an hour at best. Those who seem like beasts either rely on enhancements, have absurd talent, or train obsessively."

Men who could truly last absurdly long were rare. People shouldn't compare themselves to those exaggerated characters in certain films.

"So?" Toph looked at Ryuji seriously. "You can't do it?"

She felt her body relax a little after his last ejaculation, as though something strange had been drawn out of her. It was a pleasant but irritating sensation—her whole body warm, yet an itchy pressure remained around her chest and lower abdomen. On top of that, the strange sounds coming from the little black box next to them made her even more uncomfortable… and oddly curious.

She decided it was better to deal with all the weird feelings now, in one go, rather than let them come back later. In the arena back in her world, she'd learned that just saying a certain phrase would make men lose their minds and rush in blindly. At that point, she could easily turn the tide in her favor.

Surely Ryuji was no different. Lower his IQ just a bit, and she'd stand undefeated.

"Obviously not," Ryuji replied coolly, shaking his head.

Just during this brief conversation, he had already recovered. The scent from her body was actually quite pleasant. As he inhaled it and felt her soft hand in his, something had already begun to stir again.

But…

"The most important thing right now is building a shelter. What we just did was to verify whether I could send you back. And look—it's almost night."

He pointed to the dimming sky, and Toph quickly caught on.

"In my last world, nightfall was a disaster. That's when monsters came out. I don't know what this world is like, but if there's any chance of danger, we'd better build shelter first."

He was dead serious.

And to his surprise, so was she.

"Still… it's only three minutes."

"…Fine."

Ryuji sighed, looking at this stubborn girl. He helplessly rubbed his forehead.

"Alright, let's get it over with."

So, he lay back down and picked up the small device again, watching something that had her blushing. Meanwhile, Toph got to work—cautiously but curiously.

She noticed that Ryuji wasn't exactly enthusiastic. So while moving her hand, she asked, "You don't like this?"

"I do," Ryuji nodded, while mentally trying to figure out how to convert the world energy he'd acquired into usable energy points. No matter how he tried, though, it didn't work. Either the energies weren't convertible, or he simply didn't yet have the ability.

Compared to last time, Toph had clearly improved. She'd even instinctively figured out how to twist and stimulate the tip of his dick with her fingers and palm.

Her words and thinking might be strange, but Ryuji had to admit—she was not only beautiful, she was a genius at learning things quickly.

"I prefer meaningful conversations with girls. What we're doing now—it's more like work. Just a means to an end, to get you back. Physical stimulation without mental engagement is dull to me."

He said this with complete sincerity.

Toph nodded, sensing the truth in his heartbeat.

"So this is charity again?"

"Pretty much. If I had enough energy, I would've sent you back already."

Despite her skill improving, Toph still didn't compare to the warmth of a girl's lips or the softness of the other two entrances. That was undeniable.

"That's actually… kind of nice," she muttered, trying to ignore the strange sounds coming from Ryuji's phone. Though she was dying to know what made that small black box talk, she didn't ask just yet.

What she cared more about was something else.

"Elsa said you could use fire powers in this world. How?"

She knew Elsa's ice powers came from within—Elsa was practically divine in nature. But Ryuji clearly wasn't. When she touched his body, she didn't sense anything like that.

"That's my own energy—called magic. I burned through most of it saving you two."

Ryuji checked inside himself. Magic was unusual—it didn't passively accumulate like blood qi, but had to be consciously generated by combining spiritual and life energy.

Blood qi, at least, could be stored and used to nourish the body. Magic, if left alone, simply dissipated.

That's something he only discovered through training. Unlike in fantasy novels, energy wouldn't just sit in your body unless maintained. And absorbing external magic didn't increase your mana pool permanently. That was a myth.

The upper limit of magic power in your body needs to be transformed slowly by yourself, rather than increasing it by directly absorbing energy.

He had never encountered such a good thing as the one in novels where one could permanently increase the upper limit of blue by absorbing magic power.

Even with blood qi, his body had a limit—and that was only possible because blood qi could substitute for actual blood.

As for magic…

Girls like Rin Tohsaka or Rias Gremory could stockpile tons of it. Rin had her magic circuits. Rias was a mythological being. But Ryuji? Just an ordinary human—albeit a strong one.

So, every time he used magic, he had to pull directly from his own vitality and mental reserves. That's why his core training was focused on blood qi—something he could build up more safely and reliably.

In short: blood qi was his cultivation foundation; magic was for fighting.

Toph blinked in confusion. "Magic? Isn't that just chi?"

"…Huh? chi?"

"This," she said, channeling energy into her palm.

A strange force enveloped her hand, similar to magic, yet slightly different. As it touched him, he could feel the distinct nature of the two energies.

Curious, he focused his life energy and mimicked the same energy signature—and to his surprise, fire erupted from his hand!

"You're definitely an Elementalist!" Toph exclaimed.

She had felt his energy transform into elemental force—pure fire.

"Sorry, but this is new to me," Ryuji said, flexing his fingers.

The energy felt almost magical, yet using it connected him to the natural world. It was as if he could command nature itself. It was a strange, powerful sensation.

Even more intriguing, this energy seemed to resonate with his magic, possibly enhancing it?

But doing so felt like solving two math problems simultaneously while drawing a circle with one foot and a square with the other. Unless he mastered both forms of energy at a subconscious level, it would be impossible.

Meanwhile, Toph continued stroking his dick, analyzing the energy flowing through him. That burst of fire just now said a lot about him—impulsive, bold, and ambitious.

In her world, there were four primal forces—Earth, Water, Wind, Fire. Elementalists trained to control their own chi and tap into the world's essence.

Fire was the force of transformation—turning matter into energy.

Earth, which Toph used, represented solidity and physical strength.

Naturally, Earth and Fire users often clashed.

She'd obtained her powers by connecting to the Earth—seeing through it, even without eyes. Sound and vibration replaced sight.

Still, something bothered her more.

"It's weird. Why can you use elemental techniques here, but I can't? I feel rejected by this world."

She'd sensed the world respond to Ryuji's chi, even if he hadn't properly channeled it.

"Maybe… you should focus on something else for now," Ryuji said, glancing at his softening cock.

"We'll talk later."

"Okay!"

"How many energy points?"

"Twenty."

"So few? You're not lying, are you?!"

Toph stood with her hands on her hips, glaring at Ryuji.

"I told you! It's emotion-based!"

Ryuji was speechless. Toph was adorable, smelled nice, and carried herself with a cool edge—but she was just way too energetic. Even while doing that, her mouth didn't stop running for a second.

"Whatever. That kind of thing doesn't matter."

Toph flicked her hand dramatically, sending drops of sticky fluid flying everywhere. Some even landed on her own face, yet she didn't seem to care in the slightest. Ryuji let out a sigh and took out his handkerchief to wipe her face clean.

"That's definitely not in the 'whatever' category. Can you please listen to reason for once?"

But Toph replied without missing a beat.

"Shut up already! Isn't life meant to be wasted on things like this? Now hurry up and tell me how you gained this world's approval!"

She grabbed his sleeve, looking up at him with an intense, almost desperate gaze.

For her, elemental arts were like a second life. She had no intention of giving them up. Seeing him use magic and even influence the world's rules made her one-track mind even more determined.

If she could just figure out how he used his powers, then—even if he was lying to her—she could beat the truth out of him later. Especially since he'd made her do that… and even played those weird sounds! It was all so uncomfortable!

"You're the only one who killed those monsters alone. Is that why the world accepted you? Would we have avoided rejection too if we'd all helped?"

"I'm not exactly sure… but I think it's related, yeah."

Ryuji wasn't completely certain, even after glancing at the newly acquired fragment of world energy in his system. But before he could elaborate, Toph suddenly paused—then grabbed his arm with surprising force.

"Wait! I think… I think the world's rejection of me just got weaker! And you—when you took that weird power from my body… are you saying the more of it you absorb, the less I'm rejected?!"

She stared at him, trembling, her cheeks flushed a deep scarlet.

The second time Ryuji had drawn world power from her, she'd felt it again—that strange, comforting warmth, like soaking in a hot bath. And with all the sensory overload surrounding her, she was starting to get… weird thoughts. Especially when she gripped that dick of his—she'd nearly done something else entirely.

She knew she was being affected—not by Ryuji directly, but by the sounds from the little black box and her own imagination.

Meanwhile, Ryuji was internally panicking. He'd thought there was no reaction the first time—had assumed that absorbing world power was completely painless for her. But now it turned out she'd just been waiting for him?

She looked like an airhead—but this girl was anything but.

"Uhh… well, yeah, I guess that's all connected somehow. This is my first time dealing with something like this too."

But even as he spoke, Ryuji realized something odd.

The spot where Toph was gripping his arm—it was exactly where traditional doctors check your pulse. A cold suspicion crept over him.

"…Are you reading my heartbeat to tell if I'm lying?"

"No!"

The answer came lightning-fast—so sharp and clean-cut that Ryuji became even more certain: this little gremlin was way too sharp.

"You sure about that?"

Toph instantly switched gears. Her expression turned pitiful, her voice fragile.

"Come on, I can't see anything. I'm small, weak, helpless… how could I possibly read minds?"

Her tragic little act made him sigh again.

"…Where did your dignity and shame go?"

Seeing her trick fail, Toph suddenly pounced on him. She wrapped her legs tightly around his waist, hoisting herself up so she could grab him by the collar and bring their faces close.

"None of that matters! Just tell me—if you drain that weird, uncomfortable energy from me completely, will I be able to use elemental arts again? Ugh—forget it! Just whip that thing out again! I wanna test it!"

"..."

Ryuji stared at her flushed, fired-up face and was genuinely at a loss for words.

And then—Toph did something absolutely outrageous.

She took off her shirt.

Wrapped her arms around his neck.

And kissed him.

By the time Ryuji had processed any of it, she'd already pulled away. Her face was glowing red, but she proudly patted her very flat chest and shouted:

"Here! I showed you my boobs! Happy now?!"

Ryuji: "..."

There's nothing there.

Absolutely nothing.
