🎬 Episode 5 – Scene 1: "Tuna and Treason"
[INT. CLASSROOM – EARLY MONDAY MORNING, BEFORE ASSEMBLY]
The room is alive — that tired chaos before the first bell. Voices overlap, backpacks thump onto desks, someone's blasting lo-fi from a speaker tucked in their hoodie.
[REINA & AYANE – FRONT ROW, BY THE WINDOW]
The girls are surrounded by chatter, the occasional squeal, and glossy stationery.
Ayane (applying lip balm):
"He texted me 'Good morning'… and then left me on read."
Reina (holding a strawberry milk):
"That's just a Monday boy for you. Full of promises, empty like my math folder."
Ayane (giggling):
"Speaking of empty promises… you talked to Kazuya yet?"
Reina (blushing):
"I tried last week but he ran off to 'fight pigeons'…"
In the background, a paper plane hits someone in the head.
[BACK CORNER – KAZUYA'S GANG HUDDLED IN USUAL FORMATION]
Kazuya, Daichi, Ryo, Kenji… and Bunzo, grinning like a sponge left too long in milk.
Daichi (groaning):
"I swear Mondays age me in dog years."
Ryo (nodding):
"We need a three-day weekend. Minimum."
Kenji (half-asleep):
"Let's riot after lunch."
Kazuya (muttering):
"We could've been rich if you didn't panic and throw the croquette at the security camera."
Daichi:
"That was tactical distraction."
Kazuya:
"It was still in the wrapper!!"
Bunzo (cheerful):
"I brought a potato! No one can arrest you if you have carbs!"
He pulls out a raw potato from his bag. Everyone stares.
[INT. ADMIN HALLWAY – SAME TIME]
The headmaster walks with the old shopkeeper, a bag of tuna slung casually in his arms. The man wears three coats, one sandal, and a hat that might've been alive once.
Old Shopkeeper (confused):
"Now where the hell did I put that fish… oh, right. I'm holding it."
Headmaster (already tired):
"You said you could identify the boys from the incident, correct?"
Old Man (grinning, suddenly sharp):
"I never forget a tuna thief."
He leans toward the headmaster.
Old Man (whispering):
"One of 'em smelled like expired cabbage. I trust no cabbage-scented teens."
[INT. CLASSROOM – WINDOW SILL AREA – MOMENTS LATER]
Kazuya & the gang are halfway out the window, planning a stealth exit before the old man arrives.
Kazuya (whispering):
"If we make it to the bicycle shed, we split and regroup at Ramen Kenji's."
Ryo:
"If I fall and die, tell Ayane I liked her eyeliner."
Daichi (hanging upside-down):
"Can someone push my leg? It's stuck on the curtain rod."
Bunzo (still inside, waving):
"I'll go last! I have snacks!"
[CLASSROOM DOOR OPENS – DRAMATIC CREAK]
The headmaster enters, arms folded. The old man waddles in behind him, squinting, holding his tuna like a newborn.
Old Man (pointing):
"THERE! Those meat croquette marauders! I'd bet my last sardine it's them!"
[BUNZO APPROACHES INNOCENTLY]
Bunzo (smiling):
"Hello, sir! Do you need help crossing the road?"
Old Man (grinning):
"Why yes! I was just thinkin' 'bout that! You a scout?"
Bunzo (taking his arm):
"Let's go find that road!"
[THE ENTIRE CLASSROOM, IN ONE EXPLOSIVE UNISON:]
ALL (INCLUDING HEADMASTER, GIRLS, GHOST CLUB):
"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU GOING?!"
[CUT TO KAZUYA – STUCK HALFWAY OUT THE WINDOW]
Kazuya (resigned):
"Bunzo… buddy… I hope you trip over that tuna."
[BLACK SCREEN – WHITE TEXT:]
"Monday: 1 / Us: 0"
