Chapter 20 - Chapter 20 Ten Thousand Catties of Giant Strength

Inside the horse enclosure, a thousand bo horses were confined, and to the left of the enclosure was a row of stables.

Five hundred meters away was a courtyard, complete with everything needed for daily life.

Houses, wells, vegetable gardens, pots, pans, and all sorts of paraphernalia...

This courtyard was the new home of Li Yunjing and Ma Xingyuan.

"The smell here is really unbearable!"

Ma Xingyuan somehow found two balls of cotton and stuffed them right into his nostrils.

"Exactly! Exactly!"

Li Yunjing nodded, regretting his decision.

If he had known, he wouldn't have broken through his cultivation, making his nose so sensitive.

The stench was overwhelming to his keen senses.

It was as if his head was about to explode.

The foul smell went straight to his brain!

"Damn, these bo horses are so fat. Killing one and roasting it would be so delicious!"

Ma Xingyuan walked around the fence, carefully observing.

Though he joked, he dared not slack off, knowing that if the bo horses weren't well taken care of, contribution points would be deducted—a fate he couldn't endure.

"Haha! Each of these bo horses is plump and strong; they must taste pretty good."

Li Yunjing chimed in with a quip.

The bo horses resembled ordinary horses but had white bodies and black tails, with a horn on their heads, and teeth and claws like a tiger's.

The bo horses made sounds like drums.

These creatures were not like ordinary horses; each had immense strength, weighing several thousand kilograms.

Ordinary people had no way of taming them.

If that weren't the case, there wouldn't be runes and restrictions carved on the fences.

After inspecting the stables, Li Yunjing went to their residence next door.

A small courtyard, two houses, and a warehouse.

The two houses were naturally for them to live in.

The warehouse was much larger than the houses; it was filled with feed. The bo horses didn't eat ordinary horse feed but high-grade fodder infused with spiritual energy.

While organizing their things, Li Yunjing and Ma Xingyuan cursed, "These animals eat so well!"

From this day on, Li Yunjing and Ma Xingyuan began their work.

Raising horses was hard work, requiring them to get up in the middle of the night to add feed.

Luckily, the bo horses were meant for the Sect's dining halls, so they didn't need to take them out for a run, or the two would be exhausted to death.

Even so, life was tough for them, as neither of them had ever done hard labor, making their new lives unbearable.

Three peaceful days passed, and Li Yunjing and Ma Xingyuan finally adjusted.

One morning, the weather was clear and refreshing.

After practicing a set of boxing techniques, they heard footsteps approaching.

They looked outside and saw their steward, Hou Boyan, bringing several outer disciples with him.

"Greetings, Steward Hou! Greetings, Senior Brothers!"

Li Yunjing and Ma Xingyuan quickly stepped forward to salute.

"Hmm! Here is a note! Ten bo horses are needed today!"

Hou Boyan snorted and handed a note to Li Yunjing.

Li Yunjing saw that it was an order from "Yaxiang Garden."

They needed to send some meat, and these senior brothers were there to collect the bo horses.

"Yes! Steward Hou, Senior Brothers, this way please!"

Li Yunjing nodded with a smile.

At the horse enclosure, Li Yunjing took the token from Ma Xingyuan. When he activated the token with his mana, it glowed brightly, forming a portal a meter wide on the fence.

This was the only part of the fence without electric currents, allowing free entry and exit.

"Beast! Come over here!"

One of the burly outer disciples shouted, stepped forward, and clenched his fingers, grasping in the air.

Instantly, a bo horse over two meters tall was caught by a yellow light hand, pinching its neck and pulling it out.

"Neigh!"

The bo horse, suddenly caught, sensed danger and struggled violently, letting out a loud cry.

But this outer disciple seemed to have deep mana; the bo horse struggled for a while, and he simply pinched its throat, choking it to death.

The huge carcass was pulled out and dropped heavily onto the ground, raising a cloud of dust.

"Gasp..."

Li Yunjing and Ma Xingyuan gasped in awe at the immense power of this outer disciple.

Having dealt with bo horses for three days, they knew these creatures possessed incredible strength, easily exerting thousands of kilograms of force with just a slight movement.

At this moment, fighting for its life, the bo horse's strength would be even greater.

Yet, this large creature was effortlessly choked to death by the outer disciple.

"Hehe! Junior Brother Wang, what great power you have!"

Even Hou Boyan couldn't help but praise.

"Hahaha! What little ability do I have that's worth Steward Hou's praise?"

This outer disciple named Wang humbly replied.

The pride on his face was unmistakable; clearly, Hou Boyan's praise delighted him.

"I'll catch a few bo horses too!"

Another outer disciple, itching for action, said with a smile.

"Haha! Junior Brother Xu's great strength will surely be impressive to witness!"

The others chimed in.

"Hey!"

The man shouted, stepped into the portal, and grabbed the mane on a bo horse's neck.

The bo horse neighed in pain, kicking its front hooves at him.

"Beast! How dare you resist?"

This outer disciple named Xu sneered, swept his leg, and with a "crack," the sound of a bone breaking was heard.

The bo horse lost its balance and fell to the ground with a "thud."

"Come here!"

With a powerful tug, Xu grabbed the horn of the bo horse and dragged it, almost 2,000 kilograms, out of the stable.

Such tremendous strength was truly impressive!

Even with the bo horse struggling with all its might, exerting tens of thousands of kilograms of force, it was no match for Xu.

This giant horse was like a toy, easily handled by him.

"Gasp..."

Li Yunjing and Ma Xingyuan gasped again.

The bo horse, with its immense strength, could even knock down a house with ease.

If it were a battle of mana against the bo horse, it wouldn't be surprising.

However, this outer disciple subdued the bo horse using only his physical strength, which was truly amazing.

Li Yunjing silently mused that for Xu to handle a bo horse so effortlessly, he must have a physical strength of 100,000 kilograms.

This was pure power of the flesh.

In this aspect, he was far, far ahead of Li Yunjing.

"It seems I have a long way to go and much to learn."

This scene did not discourage Li Yunjing; instead, it ignited his fighting spirit.

Once all the bo horses were killed, one of the outer disciples took out a bag.
