Leonhardt's brain ran with multiple thoughts as he stared at Kaelith, who smiled back at him. His hands, which were holding Kaelith's waist, had gone numb, and he sighed. He removed them, and confusion settled on Kaelith's face as his brows arched. Kaelith looked at Leonhardt, who was now looking anywhere but at him.
"What's wrong? What are you doing? Why did you remove your hand?" he asked, urgency rising in his tone.
Leonhardt finally faced him and simply hissed before moving to sit on his bed. He looked at the space beside him and said, gesturing to it, "Come here and sit, and I'll free you of your confusion."
Kaelith's forehead furrowed harder as he stared at Leonhardt's offer. His eyes moved from the seat to Leonhardt and back again. After a prolonged silence between them, he stepped away from his spot and came to sit beside him.
He ruffled his curly hair and looked at Leonhardt. "So, what's the problem? Why did you push me away when I literally brought myself to you?"
