Caius looked from Kael to the guy that asked the question and smiled as he said, "Of course he is an Alpha."
He paused, now facing the guy, and asked, "And Eriq, why do you bother though? I mean, I was only joking with my friend."
"Oh…" Eriq's mouth parted slightly as his face flushed. What was he thinking about? Making his face that red as he stole glances at Kael.
Kael looked from both Caius to Eriq, his brows furrowing in confusion.
'He lied? For me? Oh….' He pondered, and then looked back to Eriq, who responded.
"I didn't know that you guys are friends, and so the accusation was abrupt, and I just felt the need to interject," Eriq said.
"I see…" Caius said, nodding his head before bringing his gaze to focus on Kael, who stiffened under his eyes.
"How do you do? And sorry about the joke. Just as Eriq brought to my notice here, I believe it was too serious and harmful considering the rules of this college."
