"I guess it works that way. You just need to be sure of the benefits we're giving each other," Veyron said with a nod.
Kael smiled brightly as his heart was finally free. He exhaled and pursed his lips as he said, "So, since we've agreed on being partners, how are you going to do my suppressant stuff?"
"Oh… come here," Veyron said, and Kael looked at him, his brows arched.
"Come where?" he asked, confused.
"On my lap," Veyron stated flatly.
"What… why?" Kael asked, stuttering as his eyes widened, looking at Veyron.
Veyron sighed as he looked back at Kael, then rose from his seat, moved closer, and landed a knock on Kael's head before dropping back into his chair. His lips held a smile as he said, "What are you even thinking? Come sit on my lap so I can get it done. Aren't you late for lectures?"
Kael's hand rubbed his forehead as he looked down shyly.
