Felix prepared the reins for Emily for the new wagon. He sniffled and whined with tears still pouring out of his eyes. Emily lowered her head towards Felix with a concerned expression as she tilted her head and softly and gently squeaked, clearly asking if he was alright. Felix sniffles, swallows hard, and wipes his eyes on his arm as he says with a happy, yet broken tone in his voice, "I am alright, Emily, these are tears of joy." Emily cuddles up to Felix with a happy expression on her face, and Felix replies with a hug hiding his face within her feathers.
Emily suddenly does a happy Squawk that is beautiful and loud, causing her call to echo through the town as she digs her talons into the ground leaving a big mark on the ground, this causes Felix to smile, and he starts to dance with Emily. The air within the town was filled with Emily's calls and Felix's laughter as they spent the day together filling in the busy chatter and sounds of the town.
Felix halted out of breath, yet still laughing, and a smile on his face. However, he turns to Emily and says with gentleness, "Thank you, Emily, thank you for everything." then he hugs her tightly as he adds, "You are such a good girl and a loyal companion." After Felix gives Emily, the gratitude hug, He walks over to O'garth's barrack, where Emily follows close behind.
Felix walks in the door noticing Verlindo the elven wizard is still under the effects of his potion, yet he is in shackles that attached him to the wall. O'garth spotted Felix as he announced, "Ah! Felix, what can I do for you today?" Felix answers with a stern tone, "I need to see Verlindo's spell book, I still need to send a message to the magical council about him." Verlindo struggles against his restraints, but he is not getting loose.
O'garth raises his finger in swiftness and swirls it as he says with his mouth agape, "Ah, right, right!" O'garth walks over to a crate where he was keeping Verlindo's stuff and grabs his spell book. O'garth walks over to Felix and hands him the spellbook. Felix opens it up and flips through the pages until he comes across a spell, halts at the page, and begins to read it to himself.
"This doesn't seem too hard to understand," Felix explains to himself.
Felix begins to chant the words from the book, yet also drawing an invisible symbol in the air, as he finishes the chant he snaps his fingers. The invisible symbols turned visible, and O'garth, Felix, and Verlindo's eyes widened. However, O'garth and Felix's eyes widen in shock and awe as they both say at the same time but O'garth questions it, while Felix shows excitement, "It work?!" Verlindo however, his eyes widened in fear, he continued to struggle in his restraint more than ever, showcasing the feared expression on his face.
O'garth encircles the spell as he asks, "Now what?" Felix answers with, "Says here to give a message." Felix clears his throat as he says, "Um hi, my name is Felix the Kobold, I'm trying to contact the Magical Council. I want them to know that the guards in the Town of Bumbleweed have a criminal, named Verlindo, he used his magic to harm me and the people of Bumbleweed. If you could please send someone here to get him, so he is no longer a threat to us, thank you." Felix snaps his fingers again as the spell shoots out of the barracks and bolts into the sky at high speeds. O'garth and Felix watched in awe as the message left.
