Everyone froze at the fact that Jaymir and the Taliant knew each other. Malerin, O'garth, and even Greemo's expressions were of shock as the Taliant nudged against Jaymir, with a sad expression, and it sent out a tragic gargling sound that ended with a sorrowful, yet beautiful sqwuak. Jaymir stroked the Taliant check, trying to calm it down. He looked at the giant bird and noticed that everyone was staring at them, lost for words.
"What?" Jaymir asked in concern and confusion.
Greemo stated, "What? Is that all you have to say? It is your fault that flee flee-infused beast destroyed everything." Jaymir shot a glare at Greemo as he snapped, "Shut it!" That is when O'garth stormed in on the conversation, turning to Greemo, "Enough!" O'garth then turned to Jaymir and stated, "It is a bit surprising that you know a Red-tip Taliant." Malerin then asks with a sweet and gentle voice as she got closer and gently stroked it, she says, "Yeah, these birds are powerful, yet so beautiful."
The Taliant calls out in happiness as it heard and got petted by Malerin, with such a beautiful, yet powerful sound, as it echoed in the town. Malerin couldn't hold it back, and she snuggled with it and said with a joyful yet baby voice, "Oh, yes, you are such a pretty thing." The Taliant squawked again with happiness, and Malerin started to giggle, yet she stopped giggling as she saw something around its neck. She held it in her palm, grasping it gently, while also calling out to Jaymir, "Um, Jaymir, there is something here about its neck?"
Jaymir quickly looked at the object that Malerin had in her palm and slightly gripped it. Jaymir's expression turned into curiosity, and Malerin gently and carefully removed the object from the bird's neck. The object was a necklace made of rope, and it had a small vial with a note inside. Malerin handed it to Jaymir as he removed the note and begin to read it.
Malerin and the Taliant looked over his shoulder, while Malerin asked in curiosity, "So, what does it say?" while the Taliant tilted its head with a look of worry and concern, yet also sqwuaking and looking at Jaymir.
Jaymir said in concern, "Well, it is what I thought it was. bad news..." he took a deep breath and read the note out loud, "it says; Dear Mr.Tradesworth, I know we haven't known each other, but only that one time I took you to Bumbleweed. If you're still alive, and you received this letter from my Taliant, her name is Emily. Anyway, I have to admit I got myself into a mess and I seek assistance. Emily should know the way, I can't tell you what happened, just in case they captured her or got their hands on this note. Felix the Kobold."
Jaymir coughed in embarrassment as he looked at the Taliant that was named Emily and stated, "Forgive me, I thought you were a male." Emily squawked and put her head down as Jaymir stroked it. Yet he added, "You ready to go save your master, Emily?" Emily squawked, answering him, telling him she was ready, yet Greemo added his two-cent option, "Wait, you're serious about this, Jaymir? You hardly know him!" Jaymir escorted Emily to a wagon, and he smiled, joking with Greemo, "What, you worried about me now?"
Greemo snaps back, "No! How do you not know this is a trap?" Jaymir continued to tease him, "sure, sounds like your worried about me, Greemo." he laughed as he continued, "i didn't know you cared so much." Greemo's face turned red as he snapped, "Shut it, Human!" This reaction made Jaymir smile and giggle. Malerin and O'garth nodded, understanding the situation, yet they agreed with Greemo. Malerin added, "Just be careful, Jaymir, okay." O'garth put his hand on Malerin's shoulder as he stated, "Don't worry, I'll be with him, I can't let you go this alone, Jaymir."
Jaymir's expression turned to shock as O'garth wanted to come with him and help him, as he mumbled, "O'garth, thank you." O'garth smiles and says, "Bah, don't mention it! I can't just let the Hero of Bumbleweed die now, can I?" Jaymir and O'garth laughed heartily as Jaymir answered in a joking tone, "I guess not, that would be bad, huh?" They continued to laugh.
