Lilac
In the infirmary, my throat was cleaned up and bandaged, along with my arm. While the nurses informed me that it was a close call which could have put me in harms way, I was still super grateful to be fine, although I feel tired as hell.
Jake was with me the entire time and I felt so relieved and comforted by his presence. Once we were alone, I was about to sit up when he hurried forward and gently laid me back in the bed, a look of disapproval across his face as he clicked his tongue.
"No mlbing yet."
"But the nurse said I was fine." I argued but he shook his head.
"You definitely shouldn't be moving yet." He muttered and I sighed, before all that happened resurfaced in my mind and a gloomy feeling came over me, one which Jake instantly noticed.
"Think that woman was the one that was disguised as me?" He asked like he could suddenly read my mind and I nodded cause that's exactly what was on my mind.
