Someone's words brought Amelia out of her thoughts, and she wiped her tears quickly, sobering her expression before she stood and dusted her clothes, facing the person who walked inside the laboratory.
"What do you want?" Amelia asked, her voice sharp, almost cutting.
Realising her mistake, she cleared her throat.
"I mean, what are you doing here?" She asked, reforming her question.
The man looked at her with a smirk before walking to her.
"Would it sound awkward if I say I am trying to figure you out?" he asked.
Amelia glared at the man.
What was with him suddenly acting like this? She was sure she had never crossed him or done anything suspicious before him.
"Don't disturb me if you are here for some fun," Amelia spat the last word.
