The next morning, King Cyrus looked a little extra peachy than earlier, and Amelia looked at him with a slightly surprised expression when he glared at her as if she had done something to him in his sleep.
Wait. Did he kick him? Or perhaps got all over him in her sleep?
"I am sorry," Amelia whispered, unsure of what else to say.
"What are you apologizing for?" Cyrus shot back.
Amelia folded her hands in her lap and looked down at them nervously.
"I have a peculiar way of sleeping and might have attacked you in your sleep. I didn't mean to do it. If you want, I can sleep on the couch as a punishment –" Amelia started, but before she could end her statement, the man grabbed a bun and stuffed it in her mouth, rendering her unable to say anything.
Sylas smirked, "Haha, if only she knew that her husband was not angry because he was attacked, but because she didn't do anything to him."
