Chapter 63 - Helplessness

It smelled terrible. 

The things around her were messy, while she roamed in a dark place with no beginning or end. 

And suddenly, when she thought she wasn't alone, people surrounded her, their hands reaching out to claw at her skin.

Everything was a bloody mess, and Amelia struggled to escape the dream. 

"Hey, Amelia," Someone shook her shoulder, and Amelia snapped back to reality, opening her eyes with a bit of surprise.

"The lecture has been over for a long time. Are you alright? You look quite exhausted," Ryan said, concern evident on his face. 

Amelia gulped to wet her dry throat as the remnants of the weird dream she was having cleared from her head slowly. 

"Umm…yeah, I am fine. Thanks for waking me up," Amelia said quickly, taking her bag and rushing out of the seat. 

Her mark on the wrist was starting to ache, and she needed to be alone.
