Three hours later inside the student dorms.
The room was huge. Polished floors, golden wall trims, and velvet curtains that swayed softly with the breeze. It looked more like a royal guest room than a student dorm.
Four people sat inside.
Max sat in a high backed chair, elbow on the armrest, staring at nothing in particular. His mind still hadn't caught up with everything. Head of a forgotten house? Chosen by the Book of Alignment? What was he even supposed to do now?
Across from him, a down to earth but soft voice cut through the silence.
"Hey buddy," the guy said, stretching his arms casually. "So... are we really the only four people in this whole house?"
Max looked up. It was the same guy students were whispering about "legend." The one who'd been sorted into Swordhart with ease, like the book already knew him.
