Chapter 94 - Chapter 90: The Thunder Emperor Subjected to Electric Execution

Vasilisa Yuryevna Mostovaya was one of the six leaders of the White Knight Order—one of the major powers of the underworld. She was also renowned with the fearsome title of [Thunder Empress].

There were very few people in the world she held even a sliver of reverence for. Her domineering nature made countless others tremble in fear before her.

But today, she encountered a colossal creature called Icarus, a super dragon.

While she found herself helpless against this enormous brute, she didn't feel fear. Its threat was purely due to its overwhelming firepower. As long as she stayed cautious, there was no real danger of being harmed.

However, the sudden appearance of one person—and the actions he took within just a few breaths—made the fearless Vasilisa feel true terror for the first time in her life.

She felt the scythe of death pressing against her slender neck.

That man was named Rostar Ignatius, a Demon King who had perished in ancient times of another world. When she first met him, she ridiculously thought of him as prey—like some golden apple ripe for the picking.

Now, somehow, this bastard had become terrifying beyond belief. It was clear he held a grudge for being treated like a mere target by her and her companions last time.

And now, he was enacting his revenge.

Just look at what happened to Kyoya.

It sent chills down her spine and made her soul tremble. Without hesitation, she fled—immediately ordering her subordinate who could use spatial transfer to open a portal to the surface world.

Only by escaping to the surface could she feel somewhat safe. Not only did the surface world limit supernatural powers, but crossing from the underworld to the surface wasn't simple—it required proper channels.

He couldn't just follow her immediately.

Once she arrived in the surface world, she could instantly disguise herself as an ordinary person and hide. In theory, he wouldn't be able to sense her.

Besides, this world did have actual gods, and gods would never tolerate a Demon King running amok in the surface world. If he entered, he'd immediately be met with divine retribution.

No matter how she looked at it, that guy wouldn't chase her to the ends of the earth.

It just wasn't worth it.

Seriously, what the hell was with the person who supposedly dealt with this Demon King the last time? Weren't they supposed to have eliminated him?

At this moment, Vasilisa deeply resented the so-called Hero Emilia—a native hero from another world. She couldn't understand how that girl got her S-rank title while leaving behind such a catastrophe.

Sometimes, women were fickle creatures. Previously, she'd been green with envy over Emilia's fame and honor for slaying a Demon King, but now, she placed all the blame on her.

================

Rain?—It was because she had now entered the surface world, where it happened to be pouring.

Just then, Vasilisa's lips curved into a faint smirk.

While she cursed inwardly, she had already finished inscribing a spell in the void. In her palm appeared a small azure lightning dragon. She intended to destroy the mirror and its wielder behind her—just in case someone tried to follow her through it.

As for killing her own subordinate in the process, she didn't feel a shred of guilt.

Dying for the great Thunder Empress was an honor. Her own life was more valuable than anyone else's.

However, before her lightning dragon could strike the mirror, the mirror shattered first.

A black-and-red lightning bolt shot through it—a serpent of electricity—which instantly devoured her dragon.

Though the black-red lightning serpent was far smaller than her own dragon, it bizarrely swallowed it whole.

Or rather, it absorbed it.

On closer inspection, it was more like her own dragon had eagerly flown into the serpent's gaping maw, offering itself as food.

It was a scene like a snake swallowing an elephant, yet even after swallowing, its form didn't bulge at all.

Regardless, at that moment, Thunder Empress Vasilisa's face turned deathly pale. Her beautiful form was now invaded by a terrifying chill.

She didn't want to die. She was still young.

She wanted to ascend to SS-rank, SSS-rank—even become a true god that stood above humanity.

She couldn't just die here.

And so, in a desperate bid to survive, Vasilisa went mad. Her trembling hands opened a fan—her trump card.

She was prepared to unleash her Noble Artifact in the real world, even if it meant breaking every law.

It was a magical bird capable of destroying three whole cities.

Why not use other defensive spells? There was no time. Only this instant-kill move had a chance.

The moment the fan expanded mid-air, it ignited. The fan began to morph into a firebird, and then—

Then, the black-red lightning serpent accelerated.

In the blink of an eye, it burrowed into Vasilisa's body.

She froze.

Nothing happened? It was as silent as a stone sinking into the sea.

Uneasy—Vasilisa, now stripped of her queenly demeanor, looked like a frightened little girl. Tears welled up in her eyes as she trembled in panic like a helpless animal.

She tried checking her own body.

The instant she circulated her magic power—it was like tossing a lit match into a pool of gasoline.

"AAAAAAAHHHH!!!"

A bone-chilling scream tore through her delicate throat.

In that moment, countless tiny lightning serpents rampaged within her body. Her flesh was electrocuted from the inside out.

On her fair skin, black lightning patterns crawled with no discernible pattern.

All her life, she had punished others with lightning—those who defied her or stood as enemies. She had taken pleasure in watching them scream in pain.

She never imagined that she, the so-called Thunder Empress, would one day be subjected to electrocution herself.

Was this the same agony those people experienced under her judgment?

No—this was worse. Far worse.

Not only was the pain excruciating, it came with another sensation—the opposite of pain.

Humans rely on their five senses to feel alive. Nerves allow you to feel touch, pain, pleasure—all of it. Normally, skin protects those nerves from overstimulation. But when that protection is stripped away, even the slightest force can be overwhelming.

Now, Vasilisa's entire body was hyper-stimulated, as if her nerves were exposed, and those lightning serpents magnified every sensation to a hellish degree.

It was a level of sensory overload far beyond what a human could endure. The despair didn't end with her body—her very soul was writhing in agony.

BANG—

She could no longer scream.

Her body, steaming like a freshly cooked meal, collapsed to the ground. If not for the slight spasms running through her limbs, one would have thought she was dead.

Oh no, this was worse—she looked broken.

Yo~

Translator san here.

I just wanted to say 2 bad news and 1 good news, that way they'll cancel out, somewhat XD.

The bad news is, yall remember the fic that LovedOne translated? The Wives of Simulation, that one. Yeahhhh he still did not bring that one back.

kewkk

Good news though is I can translate it. I can pick it up from where was the last chapter he translated and continue on his legacy on finding that masterpiece.

Buttt,(of course theirs a but)

The fic.... I'm afraid to say..... has been dropped by the original author as it hasn't been updated for about a month and a half now. That's the other bad news.

Bro whyyyy

This might be a reason why he did not bring it back up and it frankly didn't help that WN deleted the fic 2 times I think so I couldn't blame him

So now it'll all come down to it if the people wanna read it but I'm frankly hesitant to translate it now cuz of the above mentioned bad news.

That fic aint in free sites as its only available on faloo.

That's all from me.
