I watched as Nigel left the room, his demeanor seemed even colder than usual, no dark. That's the right word to use.
" Don't worry about brother, he can deal with those baddies no problem"; Alexis said smiling.
He must have caught me staring, I thought;
" Am not worried, I know brother is strong"; I said finally hugging Alexis, now the boss is gone, I can hug my baby freely, I thought.
" Don't you mean husband, I mean brother is your husband right?, or is that not how it works?"; Alexis asked holding his little chin, tilting his head at me.
A bright red blush appeared on Jade's face; " Yes that how it works, but am not use to calling your brother husband you see"; Jade said a bit fluttered avoiding Alexis gaze.
" Sister-in-law your face all red, has your temperature gone up again?"; Alexis asked as he felt her temperature.
" It's a bit hot but not completely normal"; Alexis said looking concerned.
Jade still couldn't get the words husband out of her head, she tried voicing it but even that felt weird, then suddenly memories of last night flooded her head. Jade blushed even harder, her face now crimson.
" Ahh!, sister-in-law your face is even more red than before"; Alexis said while waving his hands in the air both fluttered and confused.
" Don't mind me"; Jade said silently while bowing her head in shame.
Moments earlier at the Nellion estate.
Lopez had now arrived at the estate, he could feel the tense and heavy atmosphere emanating from his home. He walked in the the Mansion to see his dad discussing with a shareholder.
"Dad, am here now"; Lopez said standing at the entrance.
" Good, let's go fix this mess your brother created"; Robert said as he walked out with Lopez and the shareholder tagging behind him.
Robert turned to a bodyguard;" Bring him here". Silva had been confined, and now was being brought in roughly by some bodyguards.
"Dad what the heck are you doing, first you caged me like an animal and now you're letting them drag me?!"; Silva said fuming.
Robert walked up to his son and a crisp sound was heard, lingering in the air;" shut up!, let's go fix your mess"; Robert said as he walked away into the car.
The bodyguards dragged the dazed Silva into another car and the rest trailed behind. Lopez sat opposite his father and the share holder , his uncle. He could feel the tense atmosphere. Who knows if they'll succeed or further anger the demon, but now all they could do is try.
At the gates of the Nellion estate.
They had already sent info on their arrival, but that doesn't guarantee if they'll meet with the young master. Thankfully they received permission to go in.
Driving into the estate was another experience, it was the real definition of magnificent, but you can't really enjoy the scenery with intimidating bodyguards everywhere, it made theirs look like fodder.
They reached the entrance of the estate and got out of the car, Silva being dragged with them, they were lead into a magnificent living room, the interior was really breathtaking.
Now was not the time to relax, there inside the belly of the beast. They all tensed up ready for the battle ahead.
A cold suffocating air filled the room. Nigel had arrived, Robert could only bow his head to avoid the piercing murderous gaze of this man. He had never met this man, but now he knows why they call him the ruthless demon. Lopez felt inexplicably choked and could only stare, the man before them was beyond intimidating. Cold sweat filled Han's head, he had accompanied his brother to save to company from crumbling completely but now it seemed like an impossible feat.
Robert tried to initiate a conversation, his head still bowed;" Young master we have come here to ask for forgiveness for the sake of my son, please spare us". Robert said with cold sweat on his forehead.
Nigel's eyes glowed;" I'll cut to the chase. What are you willing to offer for your lives".
"Huhnnn?"; Robert could only voice out.
Nigel now had a wicked grin on his face;" I didn't like repeating my self". Nigel said coldly.
Lopez spoke out; " What he means young master is that we don't possibly have anything that would interest you, so he's a bit confused"; Lopez shakily said.
Nigel's eyes glowed; " What about him?", Nigel said pointing to Silva.
Silva who had been staying quiet at a corner felt a nasty chill go down his spine.
Han's grabbed a handful of Silva's hair and forced him to bow the impact causing Silva's forehead to bleed; " Please young master spear my foolish nephew".
" If someone had drugged your wife and attempted to rape her what would you do old man?"; Nigel said in cold voice, immediately shutting Han up.
Han felt fear course through his being, Nigel really was a demon.
"Don't worry I won't make him disappear, it's just a little punishment"; Nigel said in a dominant tone.
" Parents should always correct their children when their wrong, so Mr Nellion it's up to you"; Nigel said as a bodyguard brought out a whip.
Jade had decided to take a stroll to shake the headache off, although she did feel a bit weak, she was able to take a walk. Jade got down to the ground floor to see the person who had tried to rape her yesterday being whipped continuously by a man dressed in a suit, with two other men watching in horror.
Mr Robert was hesitant as he approached his son with the whip in hand, Silva tried to crawl away, but it was either this or his company. He could let all the years of pain go to waste. He lashed out on his son. He truly felt sorry but he couldn't do anything.
After minutes of Silva screams and shouts, Nigel spoke;" Leave now and don't cross me again". The men scrambled with the bruised Silva and left the house. Robert was now going to send Silva out of the country for his own good. Silva could only clench his teeth in pain, he swore vengeance on that bitch Lilly, he would end her.
Robert received a call from his personal assistant;" Sir the stocks have begun to rise again", he gave a sigh of relief.
" I'll be there soon"; Robert said but now he needed to take his son to the hospital.
