--------------------------------------

In the blink of an eye, the grueling six-day survival exam on the uninhabited island had finally come to an end.

As the morning of the seventh day arrived, the first-year students, exhausted yet relieved, prepared for the final moments of this unprecedented challenge.

As agreed upon at the beginning, the exam would officially conclude at 8:00 AM, and the results for each class would be publicly announced on the very beach they had first set foot on.

For most students, success or failure no longer mattered. Surviving this week-long ordeal in what felt like a green hell was an achievement in itself.

The idea of returning to the luxury cruise ship—taking a warm bath, sleeping in a proper bed, and feeling the comfort of civilization once more—felt far more rewarding than any class points.

Excitement and Preparations

"Ahhh—it's finally over! I can't wait to get back to my beloved cruise ship!"

Ike Kanji's loud voice echoed through the camp as the morning light filtered through the leaves.

A few days ago, this kind of noise would have earned him a pillow—or worse, a bag of sanitary pads—to the face.

But today was different. Everyone in Class B was already awake.

Excitement played a part, but the main reason was time—there was a lot to do before heading to the beach.

They had to dismantle the camp, pack up their supplies, and ensure they didn't leave any garbage behind.

Unlike Class D, which had recklessly spent all their points, Class B had managed their resources wisely.

Any waste left behind would result in a harsh 30-point deduction, something they couldn't afford after all their hard work.

Meanwhile, Horikita Suzune, who had been feeling unwell for the past two days, had finally recovered thanks to Haruno Yukinoshita's quick intervention.

Though she initially had a mild cold, resting and taking medicine had helped her avoid a fever.

---

"Ragna~ can you help us take down the tents here?"

Kushida Kikyo's voice called from the girls' side of the camp.

She didn't even bother adding "classmate."

That alone was enough to raise some eyebrows.

Kure Ragna, who had been idly watching the boys pack up, responded casually.

"Hey, hey, I'm coming."

Unlike the chaotic mess on the boys' side, Hirata had everything under control.

Ike Kanji, despite his usual antics, turned out to be surprisingly skilled at handling camping equipment.

He worked quickly, while Sudou—despite his strength—was left taking orders.

As Kure Ragna arrived, Kushida greeted him with a smile.

"Need any help?" she asked sweetly.

But Kure Ragna simply waved her off.

"No need. I got this."

He squatted down and efficiently began dismantling the first tent, rolling it up into a neatly bundled pack.

Then the second.

The third.

Throughout the process, Kushida kept up a light conversation, occasionally handing him a towel to wipe off his sweat.

She played the part of a caring companion flawlessly—more so than a real girlfriend might.

Meanwhile, Kei Karuizawa, his actual girlfriend in name, stood at a distance, arms crossed, pretending to be uninterested as she gazed elsewhere.

---

The Final Guessing Game

Just as Class B was finishing their cleanup, Chabashira Sae returned to the camp, holding an answer sheet.

"Haruno Yukinoshita, come here for a second."

She briefly glanced at Kure Ragna, who had just finished packing the last tent, before handing the sheet to Haruno.

This was the final segment of the exam—guessing the leaders of the other classes.

The sheet had four sections labeled Class A, B, C, and D, with Class B already crossed out.

Haruno Yukinoshita took the sheet, tapping it thoughtfully with her pen before filling it out.

Class A – Yahiko Totsuka

Class D – Ryuen Kakeru

Once done, she returned the paper with a polite smile.

"You're not filling in Class C?" Chabashira raised an eyebrow.

"There's no solid information," Haruno replied.

"I'd rather not risk a wrong guess."

Chabashira hesitated for a moment as if she wanted to say something. But in the end, she simply shook her head.

"Alright. If you're packed up, get ready to move. It's almost time to gather."

---

The Final Gathering

At exactly 8:00 AM, the students of Classes B and C arrived at the beach where they had first landed.

They stood in neat formation, waiting for the official announcement.

The golden sunlight bathed the sand, reflecting their mood—a mix of relief and nervous anticipation.

Mashima-sensei, the teacher in charge of the results, had not yet arrived, and the atmosphere remained relatively relaxed.

Ike Kanji, unable to stay still, kept glancing around.

"Did we come too early? Looks like only our class and Class C are here."

Yamauchi checked his watch.

"No, it's already eight. Right on time."

Sudou, always one for wild guesses, smirked.

"Maybe the other classes overslept?"

Before anyone could respond, a loudspeaker crackled to life.

The students immediately went silent.

Mashima-sensei stepped forward, his serious gaze sweeping across the gathered students.

"The special exam is now over. You are now on summer vacation. Feel free to relax."

Even though his words were meant to ease the tension, the students remained on edge.

After a brief pause, he continued.

"Over the past week, we've seen various strategies unfold. Some students tackled the challenges head-on, while others took different approaches."

"Regardless, the overall performance was commendable. You have all worked hard."

Of course, these were just formalities. What everyone truly cared about was—

"Now, for the final results."

The beach fell completely silent.

---

Final Results

1. 1st Place – Class C → 230 Points

2. 2nd Place – Class B → 86 Points

3. Last Place – Class A & Class D (Tied) → 0 Points

A moment of stunned silence followed.

Then—

"WHAT?!" Ike Kanji shouted, almost falling over.

"Class A and Class D got ZERO?!"

Mashima-sensei nodded. "Both classes forfeited by withdrawing from the exam."

The students erupted in whispers. Class A, the elite group, had quit? And Class D, led by Ryuen, had also given up?

But before he could dwell on it further, Mashima-sensei made his final declaration.

"With that, this special exam is officially over."

The students were now free. The survival exam had ended, and summer vacation had begun.

But for some, questions remained.

Why did Class A and D withdraw? What was Ryuen planning?

And most importantly—

What came next?
