"Hello everyone! Here's your warning: this is FNAF content. If you don't want to be spoiled, please play the game or watch someone else play it. You can even watch me play it! Just look up my username on YouTube and check out my gameplay of 'Secret of the Mimic.' It's just a game; there's no commentary. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
Izuku sat on the edge of consciousness, listening to Fiona's story. His mechanical and scientific abilities hummed with the implications of the technology Edwin had created.
The Mimic program was a revolutionary invention, capable of preserving an incomplete copy of a human mind. But, like all technology, it carried the potential for destruction."
"So how do we fix the Mimic 2?" Moriarty asked.
"I don't know. I designed a system called The Cradle to restrain it, but I'm not sure it's going to work," Fiona replied.
"We're going to have to restrain it somehow," a new voice entered the conversation; it was Izuku.
"If we can restrain it, I can fix it, or at least try to fix it," Izuku said, as slowly half of Moriarty's body changed to resemble Izuku.
"And how will you do that?" Fiona asked.
Izuku grab the backpack from his back and pull the data driver out of his pocket. He then Stripped two cables and attach them together, creating a on the spot adapter. This allowed him to plug the data into the computer in his Backpack. Then he uploaded all the files from the data driver to his backpack computer. Then he took the adapter off the data to driver attached to the Backpack computer.
Then Izuku looked over the files on the data driver. And quickly read over and analyzed everything. He even found a strange program called Moon EXE. It didn't take him long to quickly go over it and completely finished the strange game like Program.
When you finished it, he first thought his computer was completely glitched out, But then he realized that there was actually a strange broken code inside the game. It had somehow fused all of the Permissions together into a override code.
While Izuku did this, he heard a gentle and cautious voice ask, "Can you bring me with you?"
It was Fiona. She slowly popped open one of her compartments, revealing a port—probably the part used to transfer her from her robotic shell to this device. Izuku nodded his head and created an application for her inside his computer. Then he hooked his computer up to her access port and transferred her files to the app.
Moriarty decided that he would take a backseat again; Izuku was going to be more effective in the situation.
Izuku got up and connected his tactical communication device to his computer so Fiona could assist him throughout the facility.
The Midoriya system began their journey from the R&D department to the family home of Edwin Murray. But even at this house, the Mimic 2 was still chasing them, searching every room to try and get them. The other Alters insisted that they could restrain the Mimic, but Izuku knew that once he also took the driver's seat with one of the other Alters, their quirks would disappear, and restraining the Mimic would become difficult.
So Izuku continued to sneak through the house, searching for Edwin and Arnold. Eventually, the system made its way into Edwin's office, where they learned the grisly truth: Edwin had been killed by the Mimic 2. Now Izuku only had one hostage left to find.
Diving back into the house through an open window, Izuku continued to creep through the building, eventually unlocking a vent. This vent led to a boarded-off room, and with a little bit of context and Fiona's emotional mutterings, Izuku quickly figured out this was David's room.
Moriarty observed the area and eventually concluded they were missing something. They had checked every room in the house, but they couldn't find Arnold anywhere. Izuku began to flip through his computer's files, searching for anything the data driver might have had that could assist them. He continued for several minutes until Fiona intentionally stopped him.
"That stuffed animal—it was David. It's supposed to sit on that pedestal." Izuku and Moriarty couldn't think of anything else to do in this situation, so they quickly went back to the inventory machine and grabbed the white tiger plush. Placing it delicately on the pedestal, they heard the voices of two loving parents calling out to their son.
But they weren't the only ones who heard these voices. The Mimic 2 also heard the familiar sounds. To the system and Fiona, it was almost like it teleported; it just appeared in the closet. Slowly, it waddled out, mimicking David.
Fiona's breath hitched. She didn't have to breathe, but she had all of the mannerisms of a human. Seeing her son again, even if not complete, overwhelmed her program. Then something changed in the Mimic: its eyes turned orange, its height increased, and it began to violently walk towards them.
"Press the dog button!" Fiona shouted into Izuku's earpiece. Izuku looked down At the podium in front of him, it was covered in animal themed buttons. Without hesitation, Izuku complied, quickly pressing the button with the dog on it.
The Mimic 2 seemed to stumble back and reverted to David. Then his eyes flashed again, and the monster returned.
"Press the button with the chicken on it!" Izuku frantically pressed the button. Yet again, the Mimic seemed to stumble back, and David emerged once more.
Izuku was extremely stressed, and so were the altars. The altars sitting on the edge of Izuku's consciousness felt like their palms were sweating. Each one was poised to jump and push Izuku out of the metaphorical driver's seat.
"Press the alligator button!" Slapping the button, Izuku watched the repeat performance from the Mimic. For now, it was closer than ever.
"All right, press the bear button!" Faster than Izuku had any right to be, he slapped the bear button. The Mimic seemed to tremble and shriek. Then its internal systems froze, its joints locked, and the room descended into silence.
"Quickly, use your computer to repair the Mimic 2!" Fiona yelled.
Izuku quickly plugged the adapter into the Mimic's data port. He started extracting files from the Mimic's systems and replacing them with new ones, quickly coding in firewalls and other systems to prevent similar incidents from happening in the future. After 30 agonizing and stressful minutes, Izuku finally finished.
Pressing another button on the podium, Izuku heard the two parents' last loving remarks to their son. He watched as the Mimic 2 became David yet again and replied in David's childish voice. It picked up David's stuffed cat, waddled over to David's bed, lay down, and deactivated itself.
Izuku sighed in relief. The Mimic 2 had been fixed and hopefully wouldn't be committing any more violent actions for the time being. But while Izuku celebrated internally, Moriarty was still surveying the area. Seeing a small bit of light still streaming from the closet, he instructed Izuku to take a look.
