Chapter 130 - Chapter 130: The Feasibility of a Three Person Martial Soul Fusion Technique

Chapter 130: The Feasibility of a Three Person Martial Soul Fusion Technique

The three girls standing nearby listened to the conversation between master and disciple, feeling somewhat perplexed. Though they were curious, they refrained from interrupting.

After all, this discussion involved Spirit Hall's Supreme Pontiff and the Grand Worshipper figures they held in deep reverence.

However, they couldn't help but gossip internally. Yu Xiaogang and Bibi Dong? From the way Han Li spoke, it seemed like there was some story between them.

Their power levels were worlds apart, and their identities were in direct opposition. What kind of connection could they possibly have?

None of them even considered a romantic relationship or rather, the thought may have crossed their minds, but they quickly dismissed it. It was simply too absurd. In their subconscious, they believed those two belonged to completely different worlds.

Besides, the sheer amount of new information Han Li had just revealed about Martial Soul Fusion Techniques was overwhelming. Everyone fell silent, taking a moment to process and reorganize their thoughts.

"Then next, I suppose it's my turn?"

Dugu Yan, snapping back to reality, looked at Han Li with excitement.

"Yes, it's time for us to try." Han Li replied with a smile.

"First, try using flames to simulate your soul power fluctuations this will make it more intuitive. Then, see if you can make even slight adjustments to the fluctuations."

Han Li walked over to her and demonstrated by manipulating his own soul power.

"Alright, I'll give it a shot."

Dugu Yan, despite having evolved her martial soul, still had a weaker foundation in certain aspects.

In the end, she managed to display her soul power fluctuations. However, aside from minor changes caused by emotional shifts, she couldn't precisely control or modify them at will.

Shui Bing'er and Xiu'er also attempted the same, but they encountered the same issue.

"It seems like this is due to insufficient spiritual power."

Han Li easily adjusted his own fluctuations, maintaining a stable frequency for a short period though it was mentally taxing.

As for permanently altering it, even he would need to focus entirely and train rigorously for a long time before he could make a permanent change.

Guang Ling and Qing Luan also tested it themselves, realizing that even at their level, it was difficult to alter their soul power fluctuations at will.

That slight 10% difference between 50% and 60% might not seem like much, but when attempting to manipulate it, the difficulty became immense.

"It seems that discovering this early is key. Having exceptional spiritual power early on is a major advantage for developing fusion techniques later. Once one's soul power becomes too vast, it actually becomes harder to control."

After comparing results, Han Li gave a concluding analysis.

"That makes sense. Looks like your uncle and I will have a lot to experiment with from now on. Well, I'll leave you to handle those three first."

Guang Ling smirked and patted Han Li's shoulder, gesturing toward the three girls who were still trying to adjust their fluctuations.

"Alright."

Han Li nodded. There was no point in testing with his master right now the gap in their power levels was simply too vast.

"I wonder if this approach would work?"

Han Li lowered his head in thought, then suddenly his eyes lit up.

"You've thought of something again?"

Guang Ling asked, intrigued.

"You'll see soon enough, Master."

Han Li quickly walked over to Dugu Yan and Shui Bing'er.

"Yan Jie, Bing'er, I have an idea. Let's test it."

"Alright." ×2

Seeing Han Li's excitement, the two girls exchanged glances and agreed without hesitation.

"Xiu'er Jie, I'll try with you separately later. Right now, I want to start with the attributes I'm most familiar with."

Han Li, recalling yesterday's conversation, made sure to reassure Xiu'er.

"Hm, I understand, Li'er."

Xiu'er smiled sweetly, appreciating his consideration, and nodded.

"Alright, you two, stand on either side of me and hold my hands."

Han Li extended his hands toward them.

The two girls, already accustomed to his mannerisms, didn't hesitate to place their hands in his.

"When we begin, don't circulate your soul power normally. Instead, direct it into me first. I'll process it and return it to you. Understood?"

Han Li instructed them seriously. Since he had absolute control over ice and fire elements, and since both girls already had a high affinity and resistance to their respective elements, they should be able to handle his soul power without issue.

"That's actually a brilliant idea. Definitely worth testing. If this works, dual fusion techniques will become easier, and even a three person fusion might be possible."

"If they continue doing this long term, your high intensity ice and fire elements might even help their martial souls evolve further, using you as a catalyst for their transformation."

Qing Luan immediately grasped his thought process and praised him.

"Haha, you really do have sharp eyes, Uncle. You saw right through me."

Han Li laughed, giving Qing Luan a thumbs up, before turning serious again.

"I swear upon my martial soul, when channeling soul power into you two, I will remove my spiritual imprint to prevent any subconscious influence as we discussed earlier."

Both girls froze for a moment, then nodded.

A martial soul oath was the highest level of commitment in the Douluo Continent.

Their gazes softened as they looked at Han Li. They had momentarily overlooked this issue, but he had proactively addressed it before they even needed to bring it up.

Guang Ling and Qing Luan also nodded, mentally noting this important safeguard.

"Alright, clear your minds and maintain your original soul power fluctuations as much as possible."

Han Li reminded them before entering meditation first.

Dugu Yan and Shui Bing'er followed suit, closing their eyes and synchronizing with him.

Two distinct streams of energy surged into Han Li's arms, making him furrow his brow.

However, he was prepared for this, and using his absolute elemental control, he methodically regulated the foreign energies entering his body.

One minute…

Two minutes…

Ten minutes…

Just as the three onlookers began to think the experiment had failed

A faint red barrier suddenly emerged, centered around Han Li, encapsulating the three of them in a glowing sphere of energy.

They then witnessed soul power flowing seamlessly between Han Li, Dugu Yan, and Shui Bing'er, creating a perfect link.

"They did it."

Even though they couldn't visually see their soul power fluctuations, this reaction confirmed that Han Li's theory was correct.

"It seems that martial soul fusion techniques might become a major trend in the future."

Guang Ling couldn't help but sigh in amazement.

"Not likely. At most, they'll just become more common. Even if people find compatible partners, most won't be able to intentionally modify their soul power fluctuations not everyone has Han Li's level of control over elements and spiritual power."

"Besides, there's the trust issue. Would anyone willingly allow someone else's soul power to freely enter their body for extended periods? Without Han Li's prior contributions, these two wouldn't have accepted it so easily."

Qing Luan pointed out the flaws in the idea.

"Mm, you're right. I overlooked that."

Guang Ling nodded, realizing the realistic limitations.

He and Qing Luan had decades of trust, but how many others could achieve the same?

Meanwhile, Han Li had already given them life changing benefits he had helped them evolve their martial souls, making their trust in him unshakable.

Perhaps this was why Han Li had invested so much in Xiu'er…

Glancing at her, Guang Ling noticed that Xiu'er was staring intensely at the trio inside the energy sphere.
