For some reason Aikari just sensed something from that sword. The sword is just normal for him, but something else is making him pay more attention to that sword.
He then steps ahead inside that room and goes to that sword.
He reached for that sword and took it.
-Chapter 2-
Dreams and Memories -
He saw that there's a letter on that sword. But he was unable to read it since he didn't understand it.
He is then going to get out of that room with that sword in his hand. But when he turns around, he can't find an exit. Aikari then heard a voice.
"You may be a foreigner. But I could sense something from you. something that really attracted me. May I know your name, Chosen One?"
Aikari then agreed with it and told that voice his name.
"My name is Aikari. Now let me get out of here."
That voice agreed with it, and suddenly Aikari saw a door in front of him again. Aikari is then going to get out of there. But when he was going to, the voice then warned him.
"By leaving this room, that means you're accepting your fate. Are you ready and really thinking about stepping out now?"
Aikari then begins to tremble for a while. He remembered every moment that had once happened in his life. not just once but a lot. Aikari then nods and steps ahead. Aikari knew that there was something else coming, but he didn't get it.
He then closes his eyes, and with a mind that is free, he then steps out of the door.
He didn't see any change there. So he then walked out of there normally. But he realized that it is almost the time for the gathering to happen.
He could hear loud voices outside, so he then shook Hirumi's body and told her to wake up.
Hirumi woke up shortly after that, and she looked at the clock and realized that it was almost time for the gathering. So she quickly went inside the bedroom with Aikari and got changed.
When they're changing, Aikari asks Hirumi, "Hey, did you wish to discover this world and understand everyone?" Hirumi then looked down and said that she wasn't sure about that. But she knows that with Aikari with her there. She was so sure that she would be able to be happy there.
Aikari nods, and they both then head to the bed together.
As they both lie down together, Aikari holds Hirumi's hand and says, "This situation reminds me of that day."
Hirumi nods and giggles. She then replies, "That night... We sure had a lot of fun, right?" Aikari stared at Hirumi and said, "Hey, we just accidentally held each other's hands that time. Don't make it sound weird." Hirumi giggles and says, "Of course. That time you tried to save me from my own darkness." Aikari nods, and he then wants to say something. But before Aikari could say something, Hirumi then said, "But I did save you too, and it was more like a nightmare that time. Without me, you won't be able to make it, right?"
Aikari blushed as he heard that. But Hirumi wasn't wrong about that. Aikari nods and tells Hirumi that it was true. But it also kind of reminds him of someone else. Now that person is no longer an important part of Quantum Memory since Hirumi replaced her. But it's alright. Aikari knows that his encounter with Hirumi must be a meaning of something. He smiled and closed his eyes to go into a sleep.
Hirumi then also went into a sleep with Aikari. Little does she know, they once felt a moment like this in the real world. But that's just for a while. Now that they finally got a lot of time for it. Will it last forever?
But what is happening outside when they're in there? Is everything alright out there? And what is the reason for them to explore this world and save Hana?
Hirumi knows a little bit about the quantum experiment from the hackers before. That she was able to access through Quantum Memory due to something.
It's weird for everyone and also for herself. But since she has been chosen, she will do all she can for it.
But for some reason, she just wondered if Aikari actually wanted her to be there. How if Aikari actually was thinking about her that made her accidentally surpass the Quantum Memory security system that caused more than a thousand people to die? It may look like a coincidence, but it's not for her.
However, Hirumi just quit thinking about it and fell asleep.
Next day

When Hirumi woke up, she saw that Aikari was still sleeping. So she then slowly moves herself and goes to the kitchen. She wears the apron and looks at the cookbook and the ingredients to cook.
She was a bit surprised, as the ingredients that this world uses are a bit weird. But the meat and fish are the same as they have. The seasoning is a bit weird. But she just tries to understand it and use it in her cooking.
It will be just for her and Aikari. So she then just makes a medium portion of food for both of them. But when she was cooking, she just wondered if the outside world was also having the same timeline as them. Like, has it been a day there? Is it another day there now? Or is it still the same day?
Hirumi begins to wonder about that, but she tries to stay focused on the food she is trying to make.
As she was cooking, she saw that there was a weird bird outside the house that made her startled. The bird is so big, and there's a group of them outside.
Some kids are feeding them and playing around together. While their parents are watching them, they both hold hands.
When Hirumi saw that, she suddenly looked at Aikari and blushed. She then talked by herself.
"W-well... I shouldn't, right? But won't it be a part of the experiment if we try it?"
Hirumi shakes her head and gets rid of those thoughts, and she focuses on her cooking. But she kind of misses the other world. Since she also has her friends there. Maybe if she walks out there, she can make a friend. Since they're on their way to explore this world.
Will she be able to get out of there for a while as she did in Quantum Memory?
Hirumi then finishes the cooking and puts it on the table. She then tries to get in touch with Hiroto.
But there is no such thing for them to get in touch with Hiroto. So she just tries by talking.
"Hiroto, are you there? Hiroto."
Hiroto then replied after a minute.
"Sorry I'm not active. What do you need"?
Hirumi was so happy as she could contact Hiroto, and she then asked Hiroto.
"How do we get out of Quantum World, and what is the time out there?"
Hiroto got it. Why did Hirumi ask him that? So he then told Hirumi.
"It has just been 34 minutes since you two got in there. Actually, I haven't prepared anything for that yet. But you two will be able to exit the Quantum World at this coordinate."
Suddenly a screen like a map appeared in front of Hirumi. The map is a hologram, but Hirumi was not sure where it came from. Hiroto then says to Hirumi.
"The device that is equipped to you. It can be used for this too. It is like a game in there. Don't worry, once you are at that location, you will be able to get out of there."
Hirumi got it, and she then waited for Aikari to wake up and tell him about it.
After half an hour, Aikari begins to wake up. Aikari stirs from his sleep, and he goes to the toilet.
After he washed his face, he then returned to the kitchen.
Aikari went to the kitchen and saw Hirumi was waiting for him. Hirumi then told Aikari to sit down and eat with her.
As they're eating, Hirumi then tells Aikari that Hiroto contacted her and said that there's a way that they can make it out of here. All they need is to go to the certain location, and once they're there, everything will be okay.
When Aikari heard that, he tried to smile, but Hirumi could see from his expression that Aikari was sad.
Hirumi then asks Aikari, "You don't like the idea?" But Aikari just shook his head with a smile. Denying that he actually doesn't like the idea.
Hirumi knew about what he was thinking, and she then shook her head and said,.
"You're lying. You know that I can hear your thoughts, don't you?"
Aikari was then stunned for a while. He did admit that he didn't actually want to get out of there since he had just begun to get comfy in there.
But Aikari understands that they will need to get out of there since they don't know what is happening out there. Once they achieve what they want, they will need to leave that world, and it doesn't matter what the reason is.
It may be hurt. Plus, when they begin to meet with the people around there. When they begin to know each other, it must be the hurt for them.
When Aikari and Hirumi were talking, they then saw a poster of the event, and they both then just realized that they missed the event last night. Which makes both of them lose their chance to meet with the king of that world.
They both then just sigh in sadness and continue their food.
"That's too bad... But I'm sure that there will be good food there..."
Hirumi sighed.
Aikari then just smiled as he heard that and continued on finishing their food.
After they finished their food, they both then walked out and continued on exploring the world.
Hirumi tries on the outfit that she bought yesterday, and she asks Aikari if it looks good on her.
Aikari, take a look at Hirumi and tell her about his opinion.
"Yeah, that looks good on you. I never knew that you were that fashionable."
Hirumi just couldn't believe that Aikari would say something like that because she's actually a person that. But maybe because of all this time they met each other before, Hirumi never got a chance to wear such clothes before since whenever she met Aikari, it was just like a coincidence or emergency. So she can't have that much time to prepare.
Aikari and Hirumi continue their walk until they see a gathering around there.
"So everyone! Sorry for the problem yesterday. But right now, me, your king. Will finally tell you about something."
When they heard that announcement, they both then quickly looked towards that way to find out.
It's unexpected, but the last night's event where the king tried to announce something to the people is now happening in front of them. It seems like they postponed the announcement from last night to now.
But Aikari was so shocked as he saw the king, the queen, and also the crown of the city.
"Hikari, Arithia, and Himari? No way..."
He stared for a while, and it made Hirumi wonder if there was something wrong. So she then shakes Aikari for a while to make him normal.
Aikari then turned to Hirumi and said
"They're all my characters from my fictional novel that I write. It's unbelievable. But it seems like this is not a play."
Hirumi kissed Aikari's cheek and held his hand. She then said, "Then let's have some fun here, Aika—oh, I mean, my husband." Aikari flushed as Hirumi mentioned that. But she's not wrong.
It seems like everything that exists in this world is the things from his memories. His fictional world story is also a memory of when he engaged Hirumi and gave her a ring. But he never wore one before. Which makes him wonder why he has one.
But there's nothing he should be afraid of because he begins to enjoy this world. But at the same time he's still wondering about Hana and who that guy with her is.
What is his goal? And why is he also a king? Is there any other world? Or is it just another kingdom in this world?
