"As expected… at this point in time, Danzō is already in his complete form."
Kaze's gaze sharpened slightly as he noticed Danzō's exposed right arm, though he wasn't the least bit surprised.
He remembered clearly: In the original timeline, Danzō had used Izanagi, the reality-altering forbidden technique, to catch Shisui off guard and steal his eye.
And to use Izanagi, one needed two key ingredients—Sharingan and Hashirama's cells.
In fact, Kaze had deliberately waited until Danzō deactivated the sealing mechanism on his right arm before delivering his strike to the neck.
"Right now, Danzō probably doesn't even know about Kotoamatsukami. In his eyes, Shisui's eye is just a superior-grade Sharingan," Kaze thought to himself.
"He wouldn't value it more than his own life."
The real reason he hadn't taken action earlier was because of the possibility—that Danzō might activate Izanagi, using Shisui's eye to rewrite reality and prevent his own death.
And if that happened, the eye would burn out, sacrificed as payment for Izanagi.
Kaze had no intention of letting that happen.
His goal was to take both eyes—fully intact.
"This... this can't be..."
"The First Hokage's face... and those Sharingan..."
Uchiha Sei and the others widened their eyes, staring at Danzō's grotesquely modified arm.
None of them had imagined that Danzō had turned his own body into such a monstrosity.
And the Sharingan—those were sacred to the Uchiha. Their clan's pride. Their bloodline.
So how had he acquired them?
Did he collect Uchiha corpses in secret on the battlefield?
Or...
Had he stolen them directly?
If not for what happened to Shisui, they might still be trying to rationalize it—might have believed Danzō had only salvaged corpses.
But with Shisui as precedent?
No one believed that anymore.
And no one wanted to believe in Danzō's innocence.
For the first time, they were united in pure, burning rage.
"Danzō, you son of a—!"
Uchiha Sei shouted, nearly spitting blood from fury.
He wanted nothing more than to burn Danzō's corpse to ash.
But—just when everyone believed that Danzō had already been killed by Kaze—
The severed head on the ground began to flicker.
Within two short breaths, the decapitated corpse shimmered and faded into mist—
While a completely unharmed Danzō reappeared behind Kaze.
The fake body vanished entirely—an illusion undone.
And Danzō roared:
"Die, Kaze!"
The moment he appeared behind Kaze, Danzō didn't hesitate.
At some point, a kunai had already appeared in his hand. Wind-style chakra surged from his palm, not only enveloping the blade but extending beyond it—forming a sharp, vacuum-like wind blade.
With precision and force, he stabbed directly at Kaze's heart.
(T/N: No Kidney jokes.)
At the same time, one of the Sharingan embedded on the back of Danzō's hand slowly closed shut.
"Wind Release is the elemental chakra that counters Lightning Release. So even your Lightning Chakra Mode won't be able to defend against my Wind Style,"
Danzō muttered coldly, staring at the back of Kaze's head."I am your natural enemy."
Though he had sacrificed one Sharingan to activate Izanagi, he wasn't bothered.
After all, there were seven Uchiha who had broken into his base.
And each one of them was a Sharingan prodigy.
If he could dispose of them all, he could harvest fourteen more Sharingan for his collection.
A loss of one eye for fourteen?More than worth it.
"Kaze!!"
As the others watched in horror, seeing the wind blade pierce through Kaze's chest, all of the Uchiha present turned pale, crying out his name in panic.
But—
Uchiha Sei was the first to notice something strange.
Though the blade had clearly run through Kaze's body…Not a single drop of blood leaked out from the wound.
That eerie sight made Sei furrow his brows deeply.
Danzō, on the other hand, was too immersed in his own sense of triumph to notice.
A smug grin crept up the corners of his mouth.
"The battle between shinobi is a battle of information,"he said with confidence.
"I understand your Lightning Chakra Mode completely. From the very beginning, you never stood a chance."
As he talked, he pushed the vacuum blade deeper—driving it further through Kaze's body.
But then… something happened that Danzō never could've predicted—
Kaze nodded.
"You're right, Danzō," he said calmly."The battle between shinobi is one of information."
"Whoever analyzes the opponent first… gets the upper hand."
"But that's exactly why—"
"Before us, no enemy remains!"
In that instant—
Kaze's entire body crackled with lightning, exploding in radiant light as he entered his elemental form once again.
His body transformed into pure energy—No bones. No flesh. No organs.
And in the very next moment, his back turned into his front, and his skull became a face—Before Danzō could blink, Kaze was now staring him directly in the eyes.
Face to face.
Danzō's eyes widened in disbelief.
And before he could react, Kaze's left hand shot forward, clamping tightly around Danzō's right wrist, completely locking it in place—There was no chance of withdrawing the hand now.
As a transmigrator, Kaze had long since grasped every detail about Danzō.And after unlocking elementization, he rigorously tested its limits across every chakra nature he could find.
Wind, fire, water, and earth-style techniques were completely ineffective — none of them could even touch his elemental form.
Lightning release had some effect, interfering slightly with his form and potentially forcing a brief return to physical state under the right conditions.
So far, only one possibility remained untested: Senjutsu.Sage chakra might hold some unknown influence over his ability, but until proven otherwise, he had no reason to fear it.
In short, outside of Senjutsu, there was nothing in the shinobi arsenal that could breach his elemental body.
And that was why, even with Danzō's blade piercing through him, Kaze showed no signs of pain — only calm.
Besides, Danzo didn't know Senjutsu!
*splurt*
Kaze's right hand formed a knife-hand strike, crackling with lightning. In one clean motion, it pierced through Danzō's left chest and ripped out his heart.
And notably…
There were only seven Sharingan embedded into Danzō's arm — not the full ten he had during his battle with Sasuke.
"Impossible…"
Danzō coughed up a mouthful of blood on the spot, his eyes wide like saucers.
He was sure his Wind Release Vacuum Blade had punctured Kaze's heart. Why hadn't it done anything? How did Kaze turn around so suddenly?
Could this guy… also use Izanagi?
Danzō's gaze locked onto Kaze's eyes, trying to figure it out, but none of it made any sense. It defied everything he knew.
"Damn it…"
Gritting his teeth, Danzō had no choice but to once again activate Izanagi, rewriting the reality where his chest was pierced.
In the next instant, he leapt back, putting distance between himself and Kaze.
Then he glanced down at his arm — yet another Sharingan had gone blind due to the technique's cost.
But Danzō quickly forced himself to stay focused.
He might not understand what Kaze's Lightning Release truly was, but he still had six Sharingan left.
That meant six more chances.
As long as he could figure out Kaze's trick within those attempts, he could end this fight.
With that thought in mind, he raised his arm, bit his thumb, and swiftly weaved through a series of hand seals before slamming his palm to the ground.
"Summoning Jutsu! Dream Tapir!"
(T/N: Well I don't know if you guys liked the changes I made. Yes, the OG author nerfed elementization so that water style can affect it. But, I didn't like it and I assumed that the water composition in both the worlds are different. Personally I hate nerfing MC's so I changed it. So let me know if you liked it or did not like the changes. Anyway hope you enjoyed the chapter.)
