More than an hour had passed, and due to the chakra depletion, Veigar was forced to break free from his state of immersion in training.
"Phew~"
"Has Minato-sensei not arrived yet?"
Looking up at the sky, Veigar wiped the fine sweat forming on his forehead and muttered to himself.
However, just as his words fell, he heard the voice of Minato Namikaze not far away.
"Veigar, sensei has been here for a while!"
Hearing Minato's voice, Veigar quickly turned his head and saw Minato smiling as he spoke.
"I just didn't want to disturb you since you were so focused on your training."
I, Minato Namikaze, known as the eternal support, would never admit that I got distracted watching Veigar train while thinking about the development of the Rasengan.
Yup, that's exactly what happened!
"Minato-sensei!"
The moment Veigar called out, Minato suddenly used the Teleportation Jutsu, instantly appearing at Veigar's side.
Noticing the sweat still glistening on Veigar's forehead, Minato nodded in admiration.
"Veigar, in terms of Rasengan control, you've already surpassed me."
Minato didn't hold anything back—he had fully acknowledged Veigar's talent and felt that his student had now surpassed the master.
"Sensei, you're overpraising me! It's all thanks to your excellent teaching!"
Of course, Veigar knew the truth. Without his memories and Phenomenal Evil Power, he would never have been able to grow this strong so quickly.
Having spent so much time with him, Minato had always been satisfied with Veigar's progress. Now, he felt even more convinced that the decision he made yesterday was absolutely correct—no, it was brilliant.
"Yesterday, I told you I would teach you a new jutsu. Now, I'm going to fulfill that promise."
"I hope you use it wisely."
"Watch carefully!"
The moment Veigar saw the massive scroll on Minato's back, he already had a guess about the jutsu his sensei planned to teach him. But now, seeing Minato's actions, he was completely certain.
From Veigar's perspective, Minato first gently bit his finger, then formed a sequence of hand seals before slamming his palm onto the ground. Instantly, intricate summoning formulae spread outward from Minato's hand, resembling tiny tadpoles wriggling across the surface.
"Summoning Jutsu."
"BOOM!"
In a split second, a towering, two-meter-tall toad with blue-green skin appeared beside Minato.
"Minato-sama, why did you summon me?"
The summoned toad—Gamago—asked curiously.
Standing atop Gamago's head, Minato smiled and explained, "No particular reason. I wanted to demonstrate Mount Myōboku's Summoning Jutsu for my student, so I needed you for the demonstration."
Gamago lowered his gaze toward Veigar and asked, "So this is your student?"
"That's right. His name is Veigar!" Minato replied with a grin.
"Hello, nice to meet you. I'm Veigar."
Looking up at the massive toad, Veigar greeted him politely.
Seeing Veigar's respectful attitude, Gamago responded cheerfully, "Nice to meet you too, Veigar-sama! I am Gamago."
Since Veigar was about to become the third summoner from Mount Myōboku, Gamago was more than happy to welcome him.
Of course, the primary reason was that Veigar had earned Minato's approval.
With a light hop, Minato leaped off Gamago's head and landed beside Veigar. "So? Do you like the jutsu I'm about to teach you?"
Veigar, feeling a surge of excitement, nodded enthusiastically. Then, Minato continued, "This technique is called Summoning Jutsu—a type of summoning-based ninjutsu."
"By signing a contract with a summoning beast, we can call upon them at any time to assist us."
"Whether in direct combat, support roles, or information relay, summoning creatures are extremely useful."
"The toads of Mount Myōboku, where Gamago resides, are known as one of the Three Great Summon Clans. They are among the most powerful summoning creatures in the ninja world."
After explaining various details about summoning creatures, Minato removed the scroll from his back and unrolled it, revealing an empty section. He then looked at Veigar and said:
"This is the contract scroll. Once you sign your name and leave your handprint, you will officially gain the ability to summon the toads of Mount Myōboku."
Under the watchful eyes of Minato and Gamago, Veigar quickly picked up the brush, signed his name, and pressed his bloody fingerprint onto the scroll.
"All done, Minato-sensei!"
Minato nodded and rolled the scroll back up.
At that moment, Gamago turned to Minato. "Lord Minato, my summoning time is up. I'll be heading back now."
Minato patted Gamago's leg and smiled, "Thanks for the help!"
Gamago gave a nod before vanishing in a puff of smoke, returning to Mount Myōboku.
Turning back to Veigar, Minato said, "Alright, now I'll teach you the hand seals for the Summoning Jutsu."
Meanwhile, back in Mount Myōboku, Gamago returned and saw his younger brother, Gamajay, who was about the same size as him.
"Big bro! Were you summoned by Jiraiya-sama or Minato-sama?"
"When will I get summoned? I really want to see the human world!"
Before Gamago was summoned, the two brothers had been playing together. Gamajay had been waiting eagerly for his return.
Gamago chuckled and said, "If you keep training, you'll get summoned one day. Then, you'll finally see the human world."
Hearing this, Gamajay's eyes sparkled as he nodded quickly. "Yeah! I'll work hard, big bro!"
Then, Gamago leaned in and whispered secretively, "I'll tell you a little secret… Our Mount Myōboku has just gained another summoner!"
But the moment those words left his mouth—
"POOF!"
Gamajay disappeared in a cloud of smoke.
"Uh…"
Gamago didn't even need to think—Gamajay had just been summoned!
Meanwhile, back in Konoha, Veigar had just finished memorizing the sequence of hand seals for the Summoning Jutsu.
Maintaining his focus, he formed the hand seals, then pressed his palm firmly against the ground.
"Summoning Jutsu!"
