Chapter 228 - Chapter 227: Morning After the Night of Forever

The night had been nothing short of unforgettable. In the warm sanctuary of Jr's bedroom, love had bloomed with intensity, tenderness, and raw vulnerability. For Bella, it was her first time—an intimate step she had taken with trust, guided by love. Jr had been gentle at first, breaking her seal with patience and care. But once she adjusted, he gave in to the passion he had long contained. He worshipped her body, loved her soul, and held her like she was his entire world.

That night, Jr couldn't stop. Every time he looked into her eyes, saw her smile, heard her whisper his name, it pulled him back to her—again and again. Bella surrendered fully, allowing herself to be wrapped in his arms, kissed into silence, and loved through the night.

When dawn's first light streamed softly through the curtains, Jr quietly slipped out of bed. Bella was still curled up beneath the sheets, a soft glow resting on her face, her body completely spent from the night's passionate encounters. Jr smiled as he watched her sleep. He had never seen anyone so beautiful.

He walked downstairs to the kitchen, his steps light and satisfied. Chef Vivian was already preparing breakfast, and Mrs. White, the housekeeper, was sipping her morning tea nearby.

"Good morning, Chef. Morning, Mrs. White," Jr greeted with unusual lightness in his voice.

Chef Vivian raised a brow and smiled knowingly. "Well, well, good morning to you too, Mr. Hampton. You're up early."

Mrs. White chuckled. "These young people," she said, shaking her head playfully. "They're lucky to have each other. You can feel the joy in the house."

Jr laughed gently, helping himself to two cups of steaming coffee. "She deserves the best morning," he said simply before heading back upstairs.

Back in the bedroom, Bella was stirring beneath the sheets. Her eyes fluttered open slowly, her body aching slightly from the night's intensity. There was a new soreness she had never felt before—tender, but not unpleasant. It was the kind of ache that reminded her of love and how deep it had gone.

Jr returned quietly, setting the tray down beside the bed. He walked over to her and gently helped her sit up, supporting her with one arm.

"My queen," he whispered, brushing a stray curl from her face. "How was your night?"

Bella looked up at him through sleepy eyes, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "It was very good, my king," she murmured. "Better than I ever imagined."

Jr kissed her forehead. "Come, let me help you to the bathroom."

He gently lifted her in his arms and carried her to the en-suite bathroom. The warm water soothed her muscles, and Jr was attentive with every gesture—washing her hair, gently cleaning her body, and whispering sweet words the entire time.

Afterward, he wrapped her in a soft towel and carried her back to bed. He sat beside her and handed her a cup of coffee.

"Drink this," he said. "It will help you feel a little better."

Bella took the cup, her fingers grazing his. "Thank you," she said softly.

They sat there in silence for a moment, sipping their coffee. The quiet between them was peaceful and comfortable—filled with understanding and love.

Then Jr looked at her, his tone shifting gently. "I'm heading to the office this morning, but after that, I'll be meeting Grandmother and Mom."

Bella's eyes lit up. "Really? What for?"

"To begin the wedding plans," he said with a smile. "We're going to make it official. I want the whole world to know you're mine. We're not wasting time."

Bella blushed, her heart swelling with joy. "That makes me so happy… but are you sure it's okay to start so soon?"

Jr leaned in, kissing her gently. "I've never been more sure about anything in my life. You, me, the girls—we're a family now. It's time to make it permanent."

She reached for him, embracing him tightly. "Have a blessed day, my heart," she whispered.

He kissed her back, longer this time, his fingers tracing along her jawline. "You've already made it blessed."

Before leaving, Jr stepped quietly into the girls' rooms. Lisa was curled up with a storybook still open beside her, Bianca slept hugging her favorite plush rabbit, and Bonita lay soundly with her thumb tucked under her chin. They looked peaceful—safe in a way they hadn't been before.

Jr smiled to himself. He kissed each of their foreheads softly, making sure not to wake them, then closed the doors behind him.

As he walked to the mansion's parking lot, the crisp morning air greeted him. The guards snapped to attention.

"Good morning, sir," they said in unison.

Jr nodded, smiling. "Morning, gentlemen."

The staff and drivers exchanged surprised glances. They weren't used to seeing him this... light. Jr had always been professional, even distant—commanding with presence and authority. But today, there was something different about him. He looked relaxed. Genuinely happy.

As he stepped into the car, one of the guards leaned toward another and whispered, "That woman has changed him."

"Yeah," the driver agreed, watching Jr in the rearview mirror as he pulled out of the estate. "Love does that to a man. Especially when it's real."

And it was real. It was written in the way Jr looked out the window, thinking of Bella. In the way Bella smiled to herself in bed, holding her coffee. In the silent promise they'd made the night before—that no matter what, they'd face the world together.

This morning wasn't just the beginning of a new day. It was the dawn of something lasting, something sacred. A love story that had survived storms and shadows was now stepping into the light—stronger, deeper, and ready to write the next chapter.

Forever had just begun.
