Arashi had also visited Kazuto in the hospital with his family. Arashi and his wife didn't bring their 7 year old son after hearing his condition on the phone.
Kazuto was all healed up after Recovery Girl used her quirk. Surprisingly, she mentioned that his condition was getting better after he had his food and he would've recovered in a week even without her quirk.
Luckily, she only mentioned it to Kazuto and not the doctor, because this would've raised a lot of doubts from many people. Recovery girl had also healed Aizawa and he came to visit Kazuto.
He looked at Kazuto and said "Thank you Kazuto for handling the villain and I am sorry I had to leave it to you. This wouldn't have happened if I was careful. I was briefed on what happened after I lost conscious and you handled the situation pretty well. You have showed all the qualities of a leader, which is what a class representative needs. I will see you in class after you are discharged."
Kazuto said "Aizawa sensei, you don't have to blame yourself for this. I fought the villain, so I know how strong he was. But, sensei, do you think what I did was right. I knew that villain could regenerate, but I still sliced off his hands and legs multiple times. I still think of that situation and wonder what I did was right."
Aizawa looks at Kazuto and says "The fact that you think it was wrong despite what he did to you is a great quality a hero should possess. Also, since nothing happened to the villain, it wasn't wrong. Initially when you submitted your costume design and asked for a katana, I was thinking whether I should allow it or reject it. But now, I am glad you proved that I made a right decision."
Kazuto just nodded and looked at Aizawa. Aizawa said "Fine then, get better soon." and left.
"I had to ask that man. I was chopping off limbs like a meat grinder. That is not normal high schooler behaviour. If I didn't say all that, they would start to question my mental state. Also, what does Aizawa sensei mean 'allow my katana'? Bakugo's gauntlets can create an explosion that can wipe out people instantly and he is thinking giving a kid a katana might be dangerous." Kazuto said in his head.
Kazuto spent the next two days in the hospital while the doctors ran their tests to make sure he is completely healed. Momo would visit everyday with food and they would talk about the classes Kazuto missed.
Like Kazuto, Shigaraki and Kurogiri were also being healed in a secret laboratory. All for One was looking at Kyudai Garaki, who was monitoring Kurogiri and Shigaraki's vitals. Kyudai said "They really went through a lot. They are all healed up, but will be a while before they wake up. Shigaraki was saying something about a kid who was able to match Nomu in strength. Do you think All Might already found a successor and also trained him?"
All for One said "It does seem so. We have to investigate this. Luckily, the stupid school has their sports festival. We can easily get the information we need."
After two days, Kazuto was set to discharge. The nurse walked in and said "Alright Kazuto, the tests show you are perfectly alright and you can be discharged. Let me get you out of the cast."
Kazuto jumps up from the bed and says "No need". Kazuto smashed both his arms together and the cast burst open. He punched the cast on his legs and they shattered as well.
Kazuto looked at the nurse and said "Thanks for taking care of me."
The nurse nodded and gave him his clothes, the ones Momo made for him since his hero costume was sent for repair.
Kazuto changed and he went home. The school took care of his medical bills since it happened while he was attending classes.
Kazuto had the whole day for himself and he decided to test out his power after the fight. He took his Bokuto and went to a secluded area.
Kazuto was surrounded by trees and he used his observation haki to see if anyone was around. Kazuto turned on his observation haki and noticed that the range had increased. Earlier, his range was 3 km but now it had increased to 5 km.
As for armament haki and physical strength, he could move the blade fast enough to create wind shashes that could slice concrete, even metal in close range, and he could coat the slashes in haki to make them stronger. It does take a lot of haki though.
Finally, conquerors haki, Kazuto looked at two squirrels on a tree and focused on the one in the left. The squirrel was knocked out and fell into a bush. He is now able to control his haki better and can control who gets knocked out with his conquerors haki. This was the only reason he wasn't using it more often in school trainings.
Satisfied with the results, he returned home and just relaxed. He knew that problems will come looking for their class, so he won't get moments like this where he can sit down and relax.
The next day, he started his usual morning exercise and saw that he could now do 6 sets of Saitma training. His physical strength had increased by about 50% in a single fight.
Kazuto got home and said "This is crazy. I have to confirm this in our school gym if I can lift double the weights."
Kazuto got ready for school with excitement and arrived 20 minutes early. When he entered the class, everyone gathered around him and asked him if henwas better now.
After answering everyone, he said "Since everyone is here, I would like to say something to the class. Can everyone return to your seats."
The class settled down and Kazuto looked at the class. He said "You might've learnt what happened in USJ from others. I was glad to hear that everyone managed to fight against the villains and come out safe. It should've given you a valuable experience of what heroes go through everyday.
You might've also heard about what happened in the centre area. I was fighting the villains named Nomu, Shigaraki and Kurogiri, who were the main leaders of the group.
Now, Bakugo, can you tell us what went wrong with my fight against Nomu."
Bakugo just clicked his tongue and looked away. Kazuto continued "Exactly! This attitude and arrogance of Shoto, Kirishima and you was what got you guys injured.
Remember, the first thing you do in a fight is asses the situation. Learn how strong your opponent is and how strong you are. If you run into a battle blindly, you will get killed.
The only reason I was able to save Momo on time is because she understood what she was up against and listened to me. That gave me time to get to her. But you three completely neglected what I said. That doesn't mean she didn't do anything wrong. Momo, you said so yourself that you would just get in the way if you came to the battle and then you brought others to the fight. Even then, you could've waited on the sidelines and assisted from afar, but you also followed Bakugo and Kirishima.
Even before that, if you all had just waited on the sidelines and observed my battle, you would know how strong the villain was. Instead, you were drunk on power and decided to run into battle.
Midoriya, you were slightly better than them. You thought you made a good move going for distracted Shigaraki, but you should've noticed how the Nomu was loyal to Shigaraki. I am glad that you at least retreated after your arm broke.
Now, I am not saying this just to these three idiots. Everyone here needs to learn to asses the situation first before jumping into the scene. Mistakes in real life lead to death, either yours or the ones you are trying to save."
When Kazuto was done, he looked at the class and no one said a word. The silence was broken when the door slid open and Aizawa walked in with his tired look. As he walked inside, he said "What Kazuto said is absolutely right. Reflect on what you did and make sure not to repeat them again."
Kazuto nodded to Aizawa and went back to his seat. He looked at Momo sitting beside him and saw her determined look. He then looked at Shoto, who looked annoyed and angry.
Kazuto shook his head and said in his head "Shoto, you should know by now that you are not strong enough. If you still refuse to use your fire power, I will beat the crap out of you in the sports festival."
Aizawa said "I didn't announce this earlier since Kazuto was still in the hospital. In two weeks, you have UA sports festival."
A few students cheered "Yes, the most awaited event in UA."
Jiro stopped Kaminari and asked "Is it fine tj have the sports festival after the attack?"
Momo said "Exactly, it is fine if we don't have it for a year."
Aizawa said "We want to show the public UA crisis management is the best. So, we decided to go ahead with this event. This sports festival is the special event which every citizen of Japan will watch. Earlier, olympics had this much hype, but now it is the UA sports festival. It is also the perfect opportunity to stand out and get scouted by pro heroes. So, everyone give it your all."
The classes went on as usual and everyone was excited for the sports festival. After the classes ended, everyone from general course and other classes gathered at the door, looking at everyone in the class.
Kaminari asked "What is happening?"
Mineta said "What are you doing? We can't leave."
Kazuto answered "They are scouting out their enemies."
Bakugo walked towards the door and said "We survived a villain attack, so they are here check their enemies. Out of the way extras."
Iida appeared and said "You can't call people you don't know as 'extras'."
Bakugo said "It doesn't matter as long as you come first."
Kazuto said "Bakugo, you have to work on your attitude man, but I agree with you. Thrash talk is fine, but only if you are strong. So, I don't think you should thrash talk."
Bakugo just clicked his tongue and said "Listen here scar face. I will definitely beat you and everyone else in my way and become No. 1 hero."
A kid standing in front of the crowd, who had purple hair, said "Acting pretty cocky after fighting a few villains. Remember that in the sports festival, based on performance, a general course student can be transferred to the hero course. The reverse is also possible. I came to declare war."
Bakugo didn't say anything and just left. From the crowd, a kid with grey hair shouted "I am from class 1-B next door. I wanted to ask about the attack, but you are very arrogant."
Kazuto looked at them and said "I accept all your comments. Anything we say will only make us sound arrogant, so we will meet in the sports festival."
The kid with the purple hair glared at Kazuto before leaving and the crowd dispersed. Kazuto went to the gym and as he had expected, he was able to lift 1.5 ton dumbbells easily. Kazuto worked out a little and then wanted to try out his punch. He swung his fists and the air pressure created from it shook a few machines in the gym. This is no ordinary feat considering those machines had weights above 1 ton.
"This is crazy. I can now knock out a person in close range with just the air pressure from my fists. I can't believe I grew this much in just one fight. If I need to grow stronger, I must push myself and have more battles like this. I should get weights which All Might wore in the final exam against Midoriya and Bakugo. I also can't wait for the villains to make the first move." Kazuto said in his head.
Kazuto left the gym and went to the staff room. Aizawa was in his desk looking at some papers. Midnight and skinny All Might were also there in the staff room.
Kazuto greeted Midnight and Aizawa. He walked to Aizawa and said "Aizawa sensei, I want to ask if I could get some weight bracelets for my arms and legs to help me train."
Aizawa looked at Kazuto and said "Kazuto, I hope you know how to use them properly. Knowing your strength, anything less than a ton would be useless. After you get them, you can't sit on chairs, walk on wood, ride trains and even use any vehicle. If you asked after knowing that, then I will talk to Power Loader in the Development Studio and you can collect it after he has them ready for you. You will also need permission to take them out of the campus, so submit the paperwork for the same."
Kazuto said "Thanks Aizawa sensei." and then left the staff room.
Kazuto got his weights and he, along with everyone else in the class, trained hard for the upcoming sports festival in their own ways.
Two weeks went by before anyone realised and it was time for the sports festival.
