"Intuit? I just don't think? I don't get it." Hou was confused how could not thinking help him to process everything.
"As Qi Lan had taught me and I to you, sometimes experience is better than knowledge. Just try it, stop thinking and clear your thinking. Don't try to see anything, don't try to make sense of the world. As soon as you do that, you will lose the grasp you might gain."
"..okay I'll try"
Hou stopped trying to think, as he quietened his thoughts he noticed something. Even though the want thinking, his consciousness was still working a sort of thought.
Hou did his best and tried to quiet this thinking too. As he was slowing his thinking to a halt, he felt like he was gaining an intuitive sense of the world around him.
"Now take that feeling of 'knowing' the works around you, your intuition, and use it while thinking. Disregard what you see in reality, only focus on your intuition!"
Hou was hooked out of his non-thinking state when Mo Huai spoke and he laughed a little,
"I guess the only think I can do is 'just do it', I should just trust myself. Like you said experience over knowledge in this case"
Hou shook his head and was thinking but didn't pay any heed to it. All he did was take steps forward he would 'know' things around him.
"So just follow me now!" Mo Huai shouted out as he flew past.
Hou activated his Free Lark Technique and could feel that while in this domain he could control his laws much better.
He flew forward following where he 'knew' Mo Huai was. After a while of flying Hou could feel they were near a city. Again, he did not see it only pure lights but he could Intuit they were close.
"Like I said we'll stay a day or two here before using the inheritance, just stay by me and wait."
Mo Huai then went into a building, at least that's what Hou thought he could feel, and booked a room. Once he followed Mo Huai into he room, he spoke,
"Can I talk now?"
"Yes this is our inn, I've also set up a formation so nobody can snoop in. Speak freely"
"...is there some way to just use my normal senses here? I can make my way but it's very hard"
"Yes, I couldn't teach you there but now I should be able to. You remember I have you two pills as we were in Green Earth Paradise?"
"Yeah a space law one and... I don't think I know"
"Well firstly that space law one. With those space laws you should able to use this technique, Vast Eyes. To use the body cultivation technique I'll show you the movement of laws you need to do but you need to find the expression. I will only say one phrase, 'Everywhere yet nowhere, ever-present but cannot be seen nor heard'."
"Everywhere...but nowhere? So I need to comprehend this expression of the space laws and use that with the technique you will give me?"
"Yes exactly! Let me show you with only qi, really you would use the space laws."
Mo Huai moved behind Hou and placed his hands on his back. He then manipulated this qi and showed Hou what he needed to do with the space laws once he can comprehend the expression which his needed.
Hou immediately started to think.
'space. What is space? Space is... What is space? I don't know, what is it. I've always taken it just as 'space', nothing more than itself. Everything is in some kind of space. Is the astral world in a space? But what is space?'
Hou thought for two whole days and came up with his final impression of what space is,
'space is the everything. Everything is in some kind of space. Without space where would anything be? Even non physical things are in space, a non physical space. Because space in itself is non physical, only the things built on it can be physical. Like Mo Huai says it is everywhere yet nowhere, ever-present but cannot be seen nor heard. You cannot see space only what is in it.'
"I've got it." Hou said to Mo Huai with conviction.
"Then go for it, use body cultivation and move the laws in the way I showed you."
Hou nodded and started to pump the laws through his body, while doing so he changed his impression of space. Not as a shelter, something separate, like he had in default.
But instead as something that is everywhere yet nowhere, ever-present but never heard or seen!
He started to circulate the laws and did different movement and pulses, activating what Mo Huai called 'Vast Eyes'.
However instead of seeing the world, instead his intuition grew and he sensed much further. He could feel that Mo Huai was near but he could feel the whole building and even the whole city!
"To tell you the truth, I lied this only the first part of the Vast Eyes technique. But it was crucial for this is the most important point." Mo Huai admitted the truth after seeing Hou finish using the 'Vast Eyes'.
Hou sighed but then asked,
"So how do I actually use the Vast Eyes technique?"
"That other pill was actually filled with cognition laws. All I need to do is make a formation on your brain, then use those laws in body cultivation to power it."
"...okay, do it"
"I'm not going to be as good as Qi Lan but I thought as a master I should do it"
Hou let out a small chuckle. Mo Huai started to use his own mental energy and created a formation, channels which laws can pass through which would create a very specific effect.
"Once you pour the laws in the formation and let them flow through, always keep it activated or I'll have to remake the formation, okay"
"That's fine, I'll make sure to remember."
Hou looked at the formation, made with mental energy it could block the laws if needed, which was how it was used here. The mental energy would form channels or pipes which the laws would pass through, then that would cause the effect he needed.
Hou found the cognition laws, they felt different from the other laws he had used before, and then he pushed them through the formation, cycling then though.
His vision instantly cleared up, like fog lifting. He could see the room he was in, a nice wooden inn. There was a small window which he looked through and saw the blue sky.
Even though Cloud Prism was in a sort of astral world, once it was processed everything looked normal!
