Qi Lan had created a feast for Mo Huai and Hou, wanting to greet them properly before they leave for the next point.
"I'm sure you'll stay at least for this, and now that you're out...show yourself, dont hide. You're strong Mo Huai." She took her seat and looked seriously at Mo Huai.
Mo Huai wiped his aloof demeanour and looked at Qi Lan and gave his answer,
"One reason I'm out is that I've finished what I was doing, when we get to the final point I'll show sect leader my true strength."
"Okay I trust you, now let's eat. Then I'll bring you to the Sacred Point of Green Earth Paradise."
Hou heard this and before he started to eat he asked,
"What are the Sacred Points I assume The Hilt was one of them?"
Qi Lan answered him by drawing out a formation with her finger. The formation floated over the table of food and formed an illusion.
"This is the Nine Clouds Sovereign Sect, look here."
The illusion formed a massive scaling cloud, split into nine different regions.
There was a central district and in the 8 points of the compass another district.They were not clean separations, just vaguely separate lands in each direction.
Qi Lan pointed at the the North-East district,
"This is Green Earth Paradise, and here is the Sacred Point"
She pointed again and a large structure formed, a massive circle of stone. It was reminiscent of of a magic circle which was a type of formation.
"A formation?" Hou gave his assumption.
"Exactly, each district has a special inheritance which only Direct Disciples can peer into. You just came from Sword City and saw The Hilt. The Hilt is one such inheritance. In the legend of the creation of the Nine Clouds Sovereign Sect, when the Ancestor died he left 10 inheritances. Nine of those have formed into different districts. The tenth is lost."
"The same ancestors who was created when Yao Tian reformed the world order?"
"That is it, in each inheritance different knowledge is gained. In Sword City, the inheritance gave you history and ancestry. That is why it was your first one. The next inheritance is experience. I won't spoil it too much though, find out the rest as you go."
"Thank you, I won't rude anymore and I'll eat"

After the meal, Hou, Mo Huai, And Qi Lan all sat up, ready to leave.
"Just follow me" Qi Lan said as she reached into her robe and pulled out a small and thin sword.
She threw into onto the ground where it floated, she then stopped into it and started to rise. Hou noticed it and started to think of the sun and flight.
He was changing his impressions and thinking of the freedom and detachment from gravity. He activated the Free Lark Technique and started to use the Cloudy Eagle Divine Wings to fly into the air.
As he did this, he felt he was better at controlling the laws, he could do it with less mental energy. This was the effect the Hundred Form Inheritance and Hilt inheritance. From these two inheritances his control over laws became stronger, and his body cultivation could be done more efficiently.
He followed behind Qi Lan and in front of his master, Nine Clouds Purple Miasma, Mo Huai. They flew over rolling hills of vivid green grass and upwards. They then came to a mountain and they moved up steeply.
They were nearing the top of the mountain when the fog above cleared, a large stone covering blocked the sky. However Qi Lan did not pay heed to this and kept flying directly upwards.
She was in a split second before collision when the formation activated. A formation on the stone ceiling activated and Qi Lan flew through the solid stone to the other side.
Hou saw this and while he couldn't see the other side, just a stone ceiling, he trusted her and flew into the stone.
He braced for impact but no such thing occurred, he passed through the stone and through a formation. He ended up on the other side and did a 180° to see the surroundings, the ceiling of stone now a floor.
The ceiling was not actually that but instead the circle inheritance! The huge circle he had seen before in an illusion made by Qi Lan.
While in the Illusion it didn't seem so massive, in person he could not make out any large formation lines. The whole area seemed to stretch further than he could see and the patterns on the ground were simply too large for him to comprehend.
"Unlike Sword city this will take a few weeks to get to. Teleportation is forbidden on the circle inheritance, we must fly at a speed you can keep up, we may not fly for you" Mo Huai informed Hou of restrictions they had to follow.
For the next 2 weeks Hou travelled the long stretch to the centre. He had grown closer to Mo Huai and Qi Lan, and his cultivation had progressed.
He had been given a pill which was filled with space laws, similar to the ones he got from his gateway spirit. He didn't know why he was given them yet, but he followed the order and was absorbing the pill.
The pill was slower to absorb than the Heat Absorbing Golden Pill, one factor why was he was doing it while flying.
This meant his attention was lacking and some of the laws had dissipated, being sucked into the inheritance. This was not normal, usually the laws would dissipate back into the astral world and make their way back to the material world at some point.
The astral and material world were somewhat merged by Yao Tian, the laws could easily escape different layers of the world.
But finally, after those 2 weeks, they had made it to the centre of the circle inheritance.
"We're here much faster than I thought. What did you call it, the Free Lark Technique? For a newbie it can get somewhat fast. Although the Cloudy Eagle Divine Wings definitely help." Qi Lan commented on Hou's technique.
