Henry was floating slightly above the ground when he saw a sinister creature approaching from a distance. The creature stood over six and a half feet tall, its body covered in thick gray skin. Sharp bones protruded from its shoulders, elbows, knees, and back, as though its very form had evolved for killing. The creature was coming towards him quickly, faster than anything he had ever seen.
"Shit..." he muttered.
Henry raised his arms and positioned himself in a fighting stance he had learned long ago. Doomsday charged at him ferociously. As Doomsday got close, he propelled himself forward. Henry tried to defend himself, but he failed miserably. Doomsday lunged at him, grabbing him by the neck and dragging him through the city. Doomsday swept the ground with Henry, dragging him for several meters.
"Fuck!" Henry muttered, using both hands to try to break free... His neck was being strangled. As he was dragged, he noticed Doomsday's eyes began to glow red, similar to when he used his heat vision. Henry realized he had to escape his grip.
Just as Doomsday was about to unleash his heat vision, Henry gathered every bit of strength he could and punched Doomsday in the jaw, sending him flying into the air. Henry crashed to the ground, but Doomsday quickly recovered. Henry noticed that he seemed even angrier now.
Before he could react, Doomsday glared at him and fired a heat vision beam. Henry flew to the side, narrowly avoiding the blast, but Doomsday kept firing, cutting through everything in his path. People in the city witnessed a battle like never before, as Henry dodged the blasts. He flew at Doomsday and landed a punch. The attack had an effect, but it seemed to hurt Henry more than it hurt Doomsday. A punch like that would have easily knocked out Nolan, but this creature flew back several meters and recovered almost immediately.
"Don't mess around..." Henry murmured.
He wasted no time, flying at Doomsday with both arms raised. Henry tried to land a two-handed strike to Doomsday's chest, but the creature dodged and grabbed his foot. Doomsday slammed Henry into the ground, creating a massive crater. After that, Doomsday kicked Henry in the face. Henry flew backward and bounced on the ground, away from him.
aiming it at Henry. Henry quickly recovered, kneeling with his hands on the ground. He activated his own heat vision and aimed it at Doomsday's, creating a clash of intense energy. The beams collided, pushing against each other in a battle of strength. Henry gritted his teeth as he pushed his heat vision to its limits. His eyes began to burn; he had never used it at this level before.
But Henry began to falter. Doomsday's heat vision overpowered his, and he was thrown back, flying out of the city. The blast hit him in the chest, leaving him bleeding and in immense pain. He wasn't used to feeling pain, which made his sensitivity to it even worse.
Doomsday followed, exiting the city without giving Henry time to recover. He landed a punch in Henry's chest, sending him even further away. Henry hit a hill outside the city, crashing into it with his back and getting stuck there.
"Ugh..." Henry groaned in pain. His back ached.
Doomsday came after him and punched him while he was lying on the ground. With both hands, Doomsday struck Henry forcefully. Henry grabbed his fists. The impact made his hands tremble, and his palms ached. Doomsday pulled his hands free and raised them to attack again. Henry saw it coming and dodged, moving to the side. Doomsday's strike hit the ground. The entire hill cracked under the force. The cracks spread across the mountain.
Henry seized the opportunity to land a punch. It sent Doomsday flying backward. Henry kept attacking, throwing punch after punch. Each strike from them shook the ground. But despite his efforts, his attacks seemed ineffective. The more he hit, the further away victory seemed.
At some point, Doomsday became even more enraged and retaliated with greater force and speed. He landed a punch square on Henry's face, making him bleed. His nose, forehead, and hands were cut from the blows, and he had hit a bone in Doomsday's body.
Doomsday then grabbed Henry and headbutted him. The headbutt sent Henry crashing to the ground again. Doomsday threw himself at Henry, but Henry dodged to the side. Doomsday threw another punch, but Henry avoided it. Henry kneed Doomsday in the face with great force, sending the creature flying upward.
After that, Henry moved quickly, bringing his hands together to deliver a top-down strike that made Doomsday hit the ground with a massive crash. He created a giant crater upon impact. Henry tried to step on Doomsday's face, but the creature grabbed his leg and threw him far away, attempting to stomp on him in return.
Henry was sent flying, and Doomsday quickly recovered, propelling himself toward Henry. Henry tried to reposition himself but couldn't. Doomsday flew after him, landing another punch to his face, making him drag his back across the ground. Henry felt the impact and started to feel dizzy.
The pain filled him with rage. He unleashed all his strength, something he had never done before. Fueled by fury, he dodged another attack from Doomsday by moving to the left. Henry grabbed Doomsday by the waist with both hands and flew off with him.
He slammed Doomsday against a nearby planet. The planet was slightly larger than Earth's moon. As Henry pushed Doomsday into the planet, the creature struck him several times with elbows to his back.
"Ugh!" Henry groaned in pain as he continued pushing Doomsday. He threw Doomsday into the planet with such force that he punched through it, causing it to explode. Henry kept punching Doomsday, pushing him toward another planet. They fell quickly and entered the planet's atmosphere.
Doing this, Doomsday seemed to suffer for the first time. Some of his thick ribs started to crack. Henry and Doomsday exchanged blows. Henry punched him in the face while holding one of his arms. Doomsday retaliated with a stronger strike.
After a while of trading punches, Henry was badly hurt but still had enough energy to continue. He pushed Doomsday away and landed a right-hand punch, followed by another left-hand strike.
"You bastard..." Henry murmured as he kept attacking. Another right-hand punch hit Doomsday in the stomach, sending him flying upward.
Henry then joined his hands together and struck Doomsday in the face, sending him flying back. Henry tried to keep attacking, but Doomsday grabbed Henry by the waist, flipped him upside down with his feet pointed toward the sky, and threw him headfirst into the ground. Henry hit the ground with his head, causing the earth around him to crack.
Doomsday then grabbed one of his legs and slammed it back into the ground. Henry fell to his knees, his hands on the floor. Doomsday kicked him in the face, sending him flying again. Henry hit a wall.
They were currently surrounded by a mountain made of thick rock. Henry crashed into the mountain with his back and got stuck. Doomsday repeatedly punched him, one, two, three times. He kept beating Henry, driving him deeper into the mountain until his body was entirely trapped inside.
As Doomsday raised his fist for another punch, Henry gathered what little strength he had left, raised his arms to defend himself. His arms ached from the impact, but they didn't break.
Doomsday threw another punch, but this time Henry used both hands to block it. After catching the punch, he used his legs to push Doomsday back. Doomsday flew backward, and Henry seized the chance to free himself from the mountain. He broke free and fell to the ground, his body aching.
Doomsday recovered and charged at him, wanting to throw another punch. Henry saw it coming and wasn't going to let it happen. He ran toward Doomsday with his fist raised.
Their fists collided, creating an impact that shocked the air. A sound barrier seemed to explode with their impact, throwing both of them backward, sliding. Henry's fists already hurt, but Doomsday's energy seemed endless.
After their collision, both of them lunged at each other again. Henry delivered a quick flurry of punches to Doomsday's face. Doomsday retaliated with a punch that sent Henry crashing face-first into the ground. Doomsday attempted to strike Henry's back, but Henry dodged
Doomsday struck the ground, kicking up dust.
Henry took advantage of the thick dust to attack.
He moved to the side of Doomsday and landed a powerful punch to his face.
Doomsday was thrown backward by the blow.
As he fell, Henry flew and used both legs to kick Doomsday in the chest.
The force of the kick sent Doomsday flying, crashing through a dead forest.
Henry flew after him.
Doomsday hit the ground hard.
He quickly recovered and stood up.
Henry threw himself at Doomsday, attempting to land a punch.
Doomsday grabbed Henry's neck, then jumped high and slammed Henry into the ground with such force that he broke through it, crashing into a cave beneath them.
The cave was dark and damp. Above him, there was the hole through which his body had passed.
Henry lay on the ground, feeling pain. His back ached, his body even more so.
He felt as if he might die.
Doomsday dove through the ground and reached Henry.
He grabbed Henry by the neck and attempted to strangle him.
Henry struggled. He used both hands to try and free himself, but Doomsday's strength was overwhelming. Henry was nearly unconscious.
Fueled by the fear of death, Henry unleashed his heat vision with all the strength he had ever used before. The blast hit Doomsday's face, sending him flying backward, clutching his throat.
"Ahhh!" Henry shouted as he used his heat vision, his eyes burning.
Henry's heat vision not only hit Doomsday but also struck the cave ceiling, destroying everything in its path.
The beam of heat cut through the cave and shot upwards, reaching a distance that even left the planet.
Henry turned off his heat vision and struggled to get back up.
His clothes were torn, no longer wearing a shirt. His shirt was filled with cuts.
His body was battered.
Meanwhile, Doomsday seemed completely unharmed.
"Shit…" Henry muttered.
