"Rule the world?"

Rocks' eyes gleamed as he processed the old man's words. His ambition, already boundless, burned even brighter.

"What information do you have?"

The old man met his gaze and said in a measured tone, "I assume you're familiar with the Ancient Weapons?"

"Ancient Weapons?" Golden Lion interjected before Rocks could respond. "You know where one is?"

The Ancient Weapons—legendary armaments with the power to destroy the world—were objects of immense interest to anyone seeking dominance.

The old man nodded. "I have uncovered vital information about Uranus. I was only one step away from locating it."

Rocks threw his head back in laughter. "Hahaha! It seems even the heavens wish for me, Rocks D. Xebec, to rule the world!"

Not long ago, Rocks had planned to dispatch his officers to search for the Ancient Weapons. Then, by sheer chance, they stumbled upon the Celestial Dragons' fleet.

And within the fleet's slave chambers, he encountered this old man… who had just prophesied that someone from the Rocks crew would become the world's hegemon!

And now, this very man held clues to Uranus?

The signs were undeniable. Fate itself was paving the road to his conquest!

"You said you were one step away from finding Uranus. What do you mean?" Ayr asked, resting his chin in his hand, clearly intrigued.

Who would have thought they'd find such a crucial piece of information in a Celestial Dragon's slave hold?

The old man exhaled. "The location of Uranus is recorded in the Poneglyphs. There are four in total that pertain to Uranus. I have successfully uncovered three of them."

A hushed silence filled the room.

"And if I can find the last one, I will be able to fully decipher the inscriptions and determine Uranus' exact location."

Rocks' eyes gleamed. "So you're saying that as long as we find the final Poneglyph, we'll have Uranus in our grasp?"

"Precisely."

Rocks clenched his fists. "Then where is the last Poneglyph?"

The old man shook his head regretfully. "When I found the third, I also uncovered a blueprint leading to the fourth. But… before I could secure it, the Celestial Dragons' fleet captured me. The blueprint was lost in the process."

"Tch. So we're missing one crucial lead." Whitebeard muttered, resting his hand against his chin.

Rocks, however, wasn't deterred. "The Rocks Pirates will claim Uranus! I have a mission for all of you—find that last Poneglyph! Whoever retrieves it shall be greatly rewarded!"

His words sent a ripple of excitement through the crew.

"Yes, Captain Rocks!"

The officers nodded in unison.

However, among them, Golden Lion, Charlotte Linlin, and several others exchanged glances, a strange gleam in their eyes.

They, too, coveted Uranus.

If they could secure the final Poneglyph before Rocks… then perhaps they could claim the Ancient Weapon for themselves.

Why hand over such power when they could wield it instead?

As Rocks reveled in his impending conquest, a sudden thought struck him. He turned to the old man, eyes sharp.

"Tell me… who exactly are you?"

He had been so consumed by the promise of world domination that he had overlooked an important detail.

Uranus was a weapon capable of annihilating the world.

How had this old man—a mere slave—come to possess such knowledge?

The old man smiled wryly. "Me? I'm just a scholar from Ohara."

The room fell silent.

Ohara—the legendary archaeological hub of the West Blue.

Even Rocks had heard of it. A land of scholars, one of the few places in the world where people could decipher the Poneglyphs.

This man was no ordinary slave.

Ayr's expression darkened. "Ohara… Now it makes sense."

The scholars of Ohara were known for their relentless pursuit of history, their insatiable curiosity about the world's secrets.

If the World Government deemed them a threat, they would not hesitate to erase them from existence.

Was this the reason Ohara would one day be destroyed?

The more Ayr thought about it, the more he realized the implications of their actions.

Meanwhile, Rocks smirked. "Tsk. Ohara, huh?"

He believed the old man's words. A scholar from Ohara would indeed be capable of deciphering the Poneglyphs.

"Shuuh!!"

Suddenly, a ferocious black light flashed through the air.

With a single precise strike, Rocks' blade sliced through the rusted iron bars—cleanly severing the cage.

Yet, the old man remained unscathed.

"So fast…!"

Ayr, despite being an elite swordsman, barely registered the motion.

Golden Lion's expression darkened. "Tch. He's a monster."

Rocks sheathed his sword and grinned.

"You're free. And from now on, you're a member of the Rocks Pirates."

He extended his hand toward the old man.

"If we find Uranus, you'll be honored as a hero aboard this ship."

The old man gazed at Rocks for a moment before chuckling softly.

"Very well… Captain Rocks."

His fate was now tied to the most infamous crew in history.

And the world?

The world was on the brink of an era unlike any before.
