She was grinning from ear to ear, her eyes were bright you could tell she was genuinely having fun, and i didn't want to ruin it with how bad Will just made me feel, so i smiled a little brighter and even though i could feel it get heavier, even though i could feel it get shakier i didn't let it fall not completely anyways.
"So we have something to tell you" Mrs Patridge says to my mom, before turning to me.
"We do?" She asks ,her brown knitting together in confusion.
A pause,They share a knowing look, It clicks, she gets it.
" Oh, yes how could i forget, we do june bug" She squeezes me tighter, her smile managing to get wider
Now I'm Scared.
I swallow, even though their are smiling and it seems to be a happy news i still can help but feel a little unnerved.
"First, how was the house tour?" She inquires
"Yeah, how was it?" Mom adds.
" Uh,It was good..great your house is gorgeous" I manage.
I'm not gonna tell them what actually happened that would do nothing but ruin the mood.
