Akira took a moment to calm down.
Though beauties were abundant in this world, it was also incredibly dangerous. Without power, one could quickly be killed and end up as cannon fodder.
He thought for a moment, then decided: "Open the novice gift bag!"
"Ding! Congratulations, host! You have obtained the power of Paine (Nagato)!"
"Pain? Isn't that a character from Naruto?" Akira was both excited and surprised. "Can powers from another world really work here? If that's true, I'll be invincible!"
"Ding! The system has already stated that by ignoring the laws of this world, the host can surpass this world and become the strongest!"
"Now that's awesome!" Akira couldn't contain his excitement.
He reached out casually and, just like that, he was able to use Chibaku tensei and Shinra Tensei with ease. It felt as though they were innate abilities.
"Ding!"
Suddenly, something else appeared in Akira's mind.
A virtual screen materialized before him, displaying his attributes:Name: AkiraAge: 18Gender: MaleHumanoid Mode Abilities: Full power of PayneBeast Mode Ability: None (requires consumption of human emotions to enhance and gain abilities)Emotional Value: 0 (Reach 1000 to draw a lottery or enhance strength)Bounty: 0 BerriesComprehensive Ability: A-level (General level)"Wait... is Payne's power considered A-level in this world?" Akira furrowed his brow.
This world, full of pirates and unpredictable powers, was dangerous. Payne might have been a major figure in Naruto, but here he was only at the level of an ordinary general.
Still, after thinking it through, Akira understood. Nagato's health had always been poor, so even with the Rinnegan, his abilities were limited. Moreover, the Devil Fruits in One Piece were often godlike, making the power balance even more difficult to navigate.
"But even as a general, I'm still in a decent position!" Akira thought, a grin forming on his face. "I can at least escape if I encounter someone stronger."
Excited by his newfound strength, Akira was interrupted by a sudden noise from the door.
"Could it be that perverted woman returning?" he muttered to himself, a grin spreading across his face. "Perfect timing. Now it's my turn to get back at her!"
But it wasn't Princess Ellie who entered. It was the male guard—the one who had captured Akira before.
The guard was on high alert. Seeing the naked stranger in the room, he immediately drew his sword and shouted, "Who are you?! Why are you in Princess Ellie's room?"
Akira smirked, not at all concerned. "Who am I? Don't you recognize me? You were the one who captured me!"
The guard's eyes widened in shock. "What? You... you're the strange one..."
Before he could finish his sentence, the guard's body shot toward Akira, unable to resist.
Crack!
Akira grabbed the man by the neck, coldly glaring at him. "Feels good, doesn't it? You know, it hurt when you shot me in the *** earlier."
The guard's eyes widened in fear as he clutched his sword and stabbed it toward Akira's abdomen.
"Shinra Tenzheng!" Akira roared.
Boom!
The guard was sent flying back, crashing into the wall with a loud thud.
"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!" the guard shouted, barely able to stand as he staggered to his feet. He turned to flee.
"Still trying to escape?" Akira's eyes gleamed with cold fury. "Die!"
With a thought, he launched Shinra Tenzheng again, and the sword on the ground was propelled back at the guard, driving it straight through his back.
"Ah!" The guard screamed in agony as he crumpled to the floor.
"Ding! Fear emotion acquired from the guard: +9!"
Akira felt the surge of power from his Nine-Winged Heavenly Dragon abilities intensify ever so slightly.
"So, this is what the emotional power is all about," he murmured, his mind already calculating.
The remaining guards who had heard the commotion rushed in. Upon seeing the scene, they were both shocked and enraged. This was the princess's room, and someone dared to attack!
"Kill him!" they shouted, swords drawn.
Akira, unfazed, shouted back, "Everyone, get out of here!"
He launched Shinra Tenzheng once again, this time with even more force.
Boom!
The guards were blasted backward, some killed, others injured.
"Ding! Fear emotion acquired: +9!""Ding! Fear emotion acquired: +9!""Ding! Fear emotion acquired: +9!"
In less than three minutes, Akira had wiped out most of the guards, collecting 180 points of emotional energy in the process.
"It seems the maximum emotional value from these regular folks is 9," Akira mused. "I wonder what happens when I deal with more powerful people?"
He frowned slightly, still unsure about the full potential of the emotional energy system. The details hadn't been fully explained to him yet, so he'd have to experiment further.
"Doesn't matter," Akira said to himself, grinning. "Time to get revenge on the woman who was riding on me earlier."
He glanced at the last remaining guard, still alive on the floor.
With a swift motion, he grabbed the man by the throat. "Where did the woman from earlier go?"
The terrified guard stammered, "P-Princess... Princess Ellie went to the palace to meet with King Aiweng..."
Crack!
Without hesitation, Akira broke the guard's neck, leaving no trace of mercy.
As Akira walked through the island, he had already taken in everything around him. This wasn't a continent—just a small island, and from what he'd gathered, it was home to the Celestial Dragons.
Finding a palace on such a small island wouldn't be difficult, and Akira wasn't worried about that. He could feel his newfound power coursing through him, bolstering his confidence.
"Ding! Fear emotion +9!"
After eliminating everyone in his path, Akira grabbed some clothes and dressed quickly. He walked out with ease, unbothered by the death he'd just caused.
This was the palace of the Celestial Dragon Princess, and no one outside of the guards dared to approach it. With everyone else dead, there was no one to stop him.
Walking down the street, Akira noticed the arrogant and domineering Celestial Dragons everywhere. The people here, while filled with both fear and hatred for the Celestial Dragons, seemed helpless. They were like cattle being herded by tyrants.
Whenever the Celestial Dragon nobles passed by, the entire street would clear. The common folk, terrified of these noble figures, would kneel, bowing their heads in submission as the Celestial Dragons strutted past.
As he walked, Akira witnessed one such noble pass by—an imposing figure with a mustache and a loud, boisterous air about him. Behind him, a large cage was carried, and inside it, three young girls, no older than twelve or thirteen, were crammed together.
The common people scattered to the sides quickly, but Akira stood still, unaffected.
A nearby passerby grabbed his arm urgently, whispering in fear, "Young man, get out of the way! If you block the path of this Celestial Dragon, you're in for serious trouble!"
