"Web Restraint!"
Tang San activated his fifth soul skill, hurling a blood-red orb from his hand. Using his hidden weapon technique, the orb struck a Crimson Nether Python with precision. Upon impact, the orb expanded into a large web, ensnaring the python tightly.
Seeing his attack succeed, a bloodthirsty smile spread across Tang San's face. The blood-red web was covered in barbs that dug deep into the python's skin, draining its essence, blood, and flesh. In a short time, the once sizable python was reduced to a withered husk of skin and a skeleton beneath it.
As for Tang San, a flush of satisfaction colored his cheeks. The feast left him feeling deeply content. The mutated Blue Silver King had truly shown him how powerful a formidable martial soul could be. At this rate, it wouldn't take many years for him to become a Soul Emperor, or even a Soul Sage...
At that moment, Tang Hao descended from the sky. He didn't criticize Tang San's actions, as he himself had often drunk human blood during his time in Slaughter City. Such things were trivial in his eyes.
Moreover, the power of the mutated Blue Silver King surprised Tang Hao. It was even more aggressive than the Blue Silver Empress he remembered from Ah Yin. This was a good thing. The stronger Tang San's mutated Blue Silver King became, the higher his starting point would be when he eventually switched to his second martial soul, the Clear Sky Hammer.
Though usually indifferent, Tang Hao now showed a hint of approval. "The power of this ten-thousand-year soul skill is remarkable. As long as the enemy is caught off guard, even a Soul Emperor or Soul Sage would struggle once your web ensnares them. Let's go. I'll take you to a new place for training."
After drinking the python's blood, Tang San's aura grew increasingly ferocious. He grinned and replied, "Understood, Father."
With that, Tang Hao grabbed Tang San and flew westward across the continent. Their destination was Slaughter City.
---
Not long after, in a nameless town at the western edge of the continent, inside a small tavern...
Tang Hao and Tang San barged in. Contrary to their expectations, the place was eerily empty. While Tang San was still surveying the surroundings, Tang Hao walked straight to the bar.
In a low, cold voice, he ordered, "A cup of Bloody Mary."
The bartender immediately complied, placing a cup of Bloody Mary in front of Tang Hao. Tang Hao didn't drink it himself. Instead, he turned to Tang San and said, "Xiao San, drink this."
Tang San stepped forward, eyeing the Bloody Mary. He felt an inexplicable craving for it. After glancing at Tang Hao, he picked up the cup and downed it in one gulp.
In an instant, Tang San realized it was human blood. Yet, the sweetness of it was intoxicating, almost bewitching. His body, a mix of human and spirit beast blood, now further altered by the mutation of his Blue Silver Emperor bloodline, made it hard for him to resist the allure of the blood.
After finishing the drink, Tang San's expression turned cold as he stated, "This is human blood."
He hadn't said anything while drinking, but now he voiced his condemnation.
Tang Hao nodded indifferently. "That's right. Bloody Mary is human blood. Xiao San, remember, the place you're about to enter is called Slaughter City. It's a terrifying place. Drinking human blood is just the beginning. What you'll see there will defy your imagination. In that place, there are only enemies, no friends. Everyone is a target."
Hearing this, Tang San understood the kind of place he was heading to. Strangely, his body felt a surge of excitement, perhaps due to the Bloody Mary he had just consumed.
Meanwhile, the bartender glanced at Tang San and remarked, "You've drunk a cup of Bloody Mary. That qualifies you to enter Slaughter City."
After saying this, he turned and manipulated something behind the bar. With a loud rumble, a deep, dark hole opened in the floor beside him.
"This leads to Slaughter City. If you have the courage, step inside."
The bartender's tone was casual. Slaughter City was severely underpopulated these days. In the past, only those with sufficient strength were allowed entry. Now, as long as someone wasn't a coward and could stomach a cup of Bloody Mary, they were welcome.
Tang San tossed the cup aside, glanced at the hole, and without hesitation, jumped in.
After Tang San disappeared, Tang Hao waited for a moment before following. He needed to warn the Slaughter King to ensure Tang San wouldn't meet his end in Slaughter City.

Slaughter City!
Tang San passed through a thick mist and soon found himself in a desolate wasteland. Under the moonlight, a sinister castle came into view.
His guard up, Tang San approached the castle. Upon entering, he found both the outer and inner cities eerily empty. This puzzled him. Wasn't this supposed to be a world of endless killing? Why was it so quiet?
After some searching, he found a hiding fallen soul master in one of the rooms. After beating the man half to death, Tang San finally extracted some information.
It turned out that several months ago, two individuals—one known as the "Sword Demon" and the other as the "Hell Messenger"—had not only achieved a hundred consecutive victories but also successfully navigated the Hell Road. Afterward, the Sword Demon returned, killed the Slaughter King, and caused the collapse of the established order.
However, while the Slaughter King's rules had crumbled, the fundamental order of Slaughter City remained intact. Now, people no longer roamed the streets freely. Acts like public rape, slaughter, and cannibalism had drastically decreased. Instead, the survivors hid, biding their time.
With the Slaughter King dead, many aspired to become the new ruler. Those in hiding avoided unnecessary conflict, but they still ventured to the Hell Killing Arena daily. Even though only one out of ten participants survived, they persisted relentlessly. The first to achieve a hundred victories and conquer the Hell Road would become the new Slaughter King.
This, perhaps, was the original essence of Slaughter City—a pure land of slaughter, breeding killers like a pit of venomous insects.
However, the population had dwindled significantly. Due to the killings by Chen Yuan and Hu Lie Na, as well as the sacrifices required to open the Hell Road, Slaughter City was now a ghost town. Starting a match in the Hell Killing Arena had become an immense challenge.
This was something Tang San hadn't anticipated, and neither had Tang Hao.
Tang Hao, now aware of the situation, frowned deeply. He had personally experienced the Slaughter King's strength and was shocked that someone had managed to kill him.
"Slaughter City, but no one to kill. How can one practice killing intent? How can one achieve a hundred victories? How can the Hell Road be opened?"
With these thoughts, Tang Hao turned and left. As a possessor of the Slaughter Domain, Slaughter City couldn't confine him. He needed to capture people to help Tang San cultivate his killing intent.
With Tang Hao's intervention, the population of Slaughter City began to grow rapidly over the next two to three years. However, on the mainland, entire villages of civilians began to disappear. The Spirit Hall dispatched teams to investigate, but these teams also vanished one after another, causing a significant uproar within the organization.
