Chapter 6 - Ch 6 Creating charcter

Within an hour, a Super_X delivery truck arrived in front of the building, which Alex had already purchased for his stay in this world.

Soon, a group of professional installers stepped out of the truck, smoothly took out Alex's game pod, and swiftly installed it exactly where he had instructed.

Seeing them work, even Alex had to pause,

Alex doubted how humans can work as proficiently as machines

Although he had some doubts about this super_X delivery system, all doubts vanished after seeing their work

To show his thanks, Alex also gave them a 5-star review.

------------

Now, it was time.

Alex stepped into the pod, shut the lid, and activated the beta version of Yggdrasil.

As the system booted, Alex found himself in a glowing white hall.

To the right, a giant statue of a human god stood tall, leading human armies.

To the left, a monstrous alien god commanded strange and terrifying creatures.

The war between races was clear.

Then, a message appeared:

{Please Select Your Character Type}

Alex didn't hesitate.

He selected: Heteromorphic.

The only type that allowed true evolution.

If he chose human, he would get material benefits—easy quests, faster leveling, better items.

But that wasn't his goal.

He wanted the strongest build possible.

And for that, only a Heteromorphic race had the potential.

After that, another window appeared.

{Please Select Your Race}

Thousands of options appeared.

Alex started scrolling—fast.

His quantum brain simulated thousands of builds at once.

He saw all kinds of races:

Vampire. Skeleton. Slime. Snake. Demon.

Then, one caught his eye: Mimic.

A strange monster that could copy the appearance and powers of others.

At first glance, it looked perfect.

"Copy any monster or player? That's broken," Alex thought.

But just as he was about to select it, a warning flashed inside his quantum brain.

A hard stop.

The truth hit him—Mimic was a trap.

It could copy powers, yes, but only 70–80% of their full strength.

Worse, its strength would always be one step behind the thing it copied.

That meant it would never be the best. Always a follower. Always dependent.

For Alex, that was unacceptable.

-----------------

As Alex continued scrolling through the list of races, his eyes stopped on one strange name:

Spirit.

He opened its profile.

Only one ability was listed:

Possession – Can possess another being, but only if both have the same level.

At first glance, it looked weak.

No body.

No physical attacks.

Weak to magic.

Possession had a time limit—the stronger the target compared to the user, the shorter the duration.

And most importantly: it only worked on beings of equal level.

So, at level 1, he could only possess level 1 beings.

The system even warned:

Not recommended for solo players. Possession ends when timer expires or magic damage exceeds tolerance threshold.

To most players, it looked trash-tier.

Just like Skeletons or Slimes—low potential, easy kills.

But then Alex thought:

What if… he possessed a level 1 Dragon's child?A level 1 Vampire?Even a Mimic?

As long as their level matched his, it would work.

Sure, the time would be short. Seconds, maybe a minute. But that was enough.

Because Alex wasn't playing like a normal player.

He had something else.

The Heartstone.

Passed down through generations of his family, the Heartstone had one rule:

If it bonds with a host, it copies their abilities—permanently.

And possession counted as bonding.

Even if just for seconds.

That changed everything.

With each successful possession, Alex could gain new species powers, one after another.

Currently, the Heartstone held 108 abilities—mostly from Alex's ancestors.

But now?He could take that number to a thousand.
