Walter folded a small paper before carefully hiding it under the bedsheet. Morning came in a flash. He got up, clad in his academy uniform. Nearby, Leo emerged from the bathroom, water still shimmering over his skin under that bathrobe.
Walter looked at him quietly, and Leo caught his gaze, flying with a teasing smile.
"What are you looking at?" Leo questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"Nothing...just admiring your abs," Walter answered, grinning widely.
Leo rolled his eyes and blushed. "You're smarter than me, huh?"
Walter stepped closer. "Maybe. But I'm also more honest…don't you think you're starting to love me?"
Leo hesitated with wide eyes. "W-What? No! I mean—it's not like that…"
Walter laughed softly. "Oh really?" He leaned in close enough to whisper, "Then why do your eyes always find me first?"
Looking downward, Leo appeared embarrassed. Before much else could be said, the door creaked open, and there stood Noah, scowering.
