Chapter 95 - CHAPTER 95

After having his Pokémon treated at the Lavaridge Town Pokémon Center, Aoki returned to his room with Kamizrei.

"Kamizrei, I want to rest for a bit. You should take a break too. We can battle again in a few days."

"I understand," Kamizrei replied, nodding. She assumed that the strain of the intense battle and the supposed Bond Phenomenon had exhausted Aoki, and she didn't want to disturb him.

Lying on his bed, Aoki closed his eyes and focused on his complex system interface.

Ding!

Congratulations, host! You have received the following rewards:

• Exclusive Shiny Capsule (Beldum)

• Ability Capsule

• Psychic Seed

Aoki's eyes lit up. Three rare items at once! He had expected a good reward, considering that he had just defeated two Elite-level Pokémon, including Mura's ace, the Typhlosion, but this was better than anticipated.

It seemed that the stronger the opponent, the greater the reward. Previously, after defeating Gyarados and Cynthia's Milotic, he had obtained two significant items. Now, by taking down two Elite-level Pokémon, he had gained even more.

If I defeat a true Champion-level opponent, how incredible would the rewards be? Aoki wondered. Maybe Wallace, the Hoenn Champion, or even Lance from Kanto?

Among his current rewards, the Shiny Capsule was the most intriguing. It was exclusive to Beldum, meaning it could turn a Beldum into a Shiny Pokémon while also improving its potential.

"But where can I find a Beldum?" Aoki mused. Steven Stone had one, but wild Beldum were extremely rare, typically only found near Meteor Falls.

Next, the Ability Capsule was a treasure in itself. This item allowed a Pokémon to activate a second Ability, something that was practically unheard of in the natural world.

Aoki thought carefully about which Pokémon to use it on. After some deliberation, he decided on Salamence.

Not only was Salamence a Champion-level Pokémon in the making, but both of its potential Abilities were excellent:

• Intimidate: Lowers the opponent's Attack upon entry.

• Moxie: Boosts its own Attack after knocking out an opponent.

If Salamence could possess both Abilities simultaneously, it would gain a huge tactical advantage in battle.

Lastly, there was the Psychic Seed. Unlike a normal held item, this was an awakening item that could permanently enhance a Trainer's latent psychic abilities.

Without hesitation, Aoki swallowed the seed.

Immediately, a surge of energy erupted in his mind, and his vision went dark.

Aoki found himself in a strange mental space. A small seed had appeared, radiating waves of psychic power. As it expanded, it felt as though his consciousness was growing alongside it.

Outside in the real world…

Ralts, sensing the disturbance, used Teleport to move Aoki to a safer spot. Happiny, concerned, activated Heal Pulse, surrounding Aoki in a warm, rejuvenating energy.

The effects of the Psychic Seed continued to take hold.

When Aoki finally regained consciousness, he was drenched in sweat, but his mind felt sharper than ever. He could suddenly perceive everything around him with unnatural clarity—from the Pokémon resting outside the Lavaridge Gym to the faint flickering of the Pokémon Center's neon sign.

"This… is Psychic Power?" Aoki muttered, testing his newfound abilities.

Focusing on a nearby cup, he concentrated—and it floated into the air.

He then tried something more advanced—Teleport.

In an instant, Aoki vanished from his bed and reappeared inside the bathroom.

"Unbelievable…" Aoki thought, his heart pounding with excitement.

He reached out to Ralts with his thoughts.

"Ralts, can you hear me?"

Ralts flinched slightly, then responded with Telepathy.

"Yes, Master, I can hear you!"

Aoki exhaled deeply. Not only had he awakened Psychic powers, but they were already at an Intermediate Level. Checking his system, he confirmed his new status:

• Name: Aoki

• Special Abilities: Aura (Viridian Power), Psychic (Intermediate)

With Confusion, Telepathy, and Teleport already available to him, he realized he was no longer just an ordinary Pokémon Trainer—he was a true Psychic Trainer now.

Turning to his Pokémon, he smiled.

"Ralts, Happiny, rest well. Happiny, you're close to evolving—soon, you'll be ready for battle."

Happiny beamed, hopping into Aoki's arms and waving its tiny hands excitedly.

"I'll do my best, Master!"

At that moment, Kamizrei stirred awake. Still drowsy, she groggily got out of bed, her long legs stretching as she walked toward the door.

Aoki, still sitting, involuntarily glanced at her.

Even with messy bed hair and slightly loose clothes, Kamizrei's figure was stunning. He always admired her confidence and charisma, but seeing her in a more relaxed state added a different kind of charm.

Kamizrei rubbed her eyes before noticing Aoki staring at her.

"…Aoki, why are you looking at me like that?" she asked, her cheeks turning pink.

Instead of answering, Aoki suddenly stepped forward and pulled Kamizrei into a loose embrace.

"Kamizrei," he said softly, his hand resting on her shoulder, "You have a great figure. I really like it. Do you have time? Let's go on a date."

Kamizrei's heart skipped a beat. Her face turned an even deeper shade of red as she tried to process his words.

D-Does he really mean it?

She wanted to refuse—not because she didn't like him, but because she was too nervous to respond properly.

Just as she hesitated, Aoki suddenly let go.

"Ah, never mind," he said, stepping back. "If you're not interested, I won't push it."

Kamizrei's eyes widened in panic.

"Wait! I didn't say I wasn't interested!" she wanted to protest. But before she could muster the courage to speak, Aoki had already walked toward the door.

"Let's go eat," he said casually, turning back with a small smirk.

Kamizrei snapped out of her daze and quickly followed.

"W-Wait for me! I'm hungry too!"

Her thoughts raced wildly, but one thing was certain—she was not going to let this moment slip away.
